SK have threatened to strike 1st if NK continue testing nukes so obviously they are worried by them. http://rt.com/news/south-korea-first-strike-806/ Russians say it was between 10 and 20 kilotons and that was in 09. http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2009/may/25/north-korea-hiroshima-nuclear-test
They dont need to, put it on a boat and sail it into a harbour or launch it from a sub 10 miles off the coast.
Everyone needs to calm down and appreciate the good things in like: http://www.pyongyangtrafficgirls.com/
His father would never have let himself been photographed with that computer: http://www.repubblica.it/esteri/201...g_un_visiona_i_piani_di_attacco-55596009/1/#2 Is Red Star Linux no longer good enough for him?
I can't see it happening, and of it does then the US will probably only be involved with air and (conventional) missile strikes. They'd be to concerned about alarming Russia and China to do anything else. Personally, living in a city that's bloody close to being a high priority target, I hope that's the case, anyway! There doesn't seem to be much concern in the mainstream news, at any rate.....
I kniw its obviously a joke but it donest have to be a nuke, hes got chem and bio weapon and the result would drift down to us. Being around the phantom farter was bad enough!
A 7 Kiloton (as in N. Korea testing) burst at ground level centred on Stamford Bridge would leave Loftus Road intact apart from some broken windows. http://nuclearsecrecy.com/nukemap/
Just saying. Despite the war crimes committed and hundreds of thousands of tragic deaths Nagasaki and Hiroshima eventually recovered.
True. Apparently this is what worries the US as NK allegedly has gone for a maximum EMP effect. Even without a single fatality the results on Seoul and it's industrial hinterland would be devastating. A cargo ship launch over NYC or Washington would cripple the USA economy. MAD is the only sane solution as history has shown since '45.
Are people still sticking to the 'sabre rattling' theory or anyone think its getting more serious by the day ??
Do you think if nuclear war breaks out before the end of the season they'll let us start again in the prem when its safe to go outside again? There must be a bright side...... Know what Staines? I reckon the Chinese will step in if they think Kim is totally out of control. They have an enormous amount to lose, including the massive chunk of the US national debt that they own.
It's still a bit of chest thumping I reckon. I'd expect it to last until the end of the month at most. All this rhetoric and vitriol is for domestic consumption, they are building up for some big anniversary and celebrations on the 15th of April. This is just a bit of national jingoistic tub thumping to appease the masses and to keep them all on-side.
I was going to bump this thread earlier but it's very apparent to me anyway that's its gonna kick off very soon
