Seeing as there are so many negative threads after one defeat I just thought it was worth mentioning that: We are 2nd with 6 games left. We lost 1-0 last night to a very good side. Our midfield was without both Meyler and Quinn (for most of the game - probably because SB didn't want to risk him) We now have arguably our toughest game behind us. A win on Saturday could potentially restore our 4 point lead with Watford at Cardiff. Finally if you need cheering up just imagine being a Leicester fan and compare their team's record to ours.
Uncalled for .... Far more exciting than boring boring Hull, winning games ... 2nd in the Championship ... yawn
I couldn't decipher that. Are you saying it's boring to have climbed to 2nd in the Championship and exciting to be dropping like a stone out of the play-offs?
I sense he was joking, but then he does still have a point - Leicester have scored three more goals than us this season.
That post was far too sensible Craig , we are either the worst team in the league when we lose or the best in the world when we win Just see Erik's post about Steve Bruce for an example
Well said ^^^^^ this. Far too many people get down far too quickly and for what ?? You have to give Nigel Pearson credit for one thing though. Whilst Lesta are sinking down the league like the Titanic what has he done to Chris Wood ? Wood used to be a free scoring striker but now what has he been reduced to ?
Says it all this thread only has 6 posts Craig. I had a load of new "fans" round me last night never stopped moaning all game. Hope they dont ****ing come to the next match.
I think people got a bit too excited about the possibility of beating Watford and having one foot in the Prem. Sometimes it's easy to convince yourself it's going to happen (like every time I buy a lottery ticket). Then when it doesn't the disapointment is far greater. We all need to appreciate that any team can beat any other team in this division and it shouldn't be a devastating shock when it happens to us.
I'm sick of all the miserable sods saying we blew it last night. In case they hadn't noticed, palace have lost three on the trot and Watford's form has been dodgy too, so the entire top four are blowing it. It's adverse times like this, when teams are attempting to crawl over the line, that you need the fans to get behind the team and have a never-say-die attitude, not throw the towel in. Worst case scenario - playoffs - we'll definitely need some good support then, but 2nd is still definitely achievable.
you've got to understand, alot of our so called 'fans' - all they want to do is ****ing moan about something.
