Ginger - Honeyball's week revolves round the mares bumper on Friday I would have thought. There's a nagging doubt that Midnight Minx may have been blunted by her injury last year. They won this race 12 months ago.

Nothing on the Honeyball ginger but I do know the Webber horse is fancied in the bumper. AP was at the yard to school Cantlow recently and I believe had a spin on this one too!

Plenty of dosh around for ROTO's selection which leads me to an interesting question re. laying horses in-running or even prior to an event. I managed to get the 16's about the horse last night and I can lay on betfair at 9.2 (effectively 8/1). At half the original odds is it worth setting up a lay to essentially establish a free bet at 8/1? Would others be more audacious and try and lay at less than this in-running? Whenever you lay a horse in-running the better odds available for laying i.e. less liability are available when the horse is going well so it almost defeats the object of laying the horse when it appears to have a good / the best chance of winning? Interested to hear peoples thoughts on laying horses previously backed at bigger prices

    Afternoon boys :)

At the moment, just two for me so far - Danimix in the Wetherby 3-10 at 9-4 too good to miss. And in the 3-40 Cool Baranca looks set to strike, well handicapped and appears to be approaching her best form <ok>

Edit: Like the look of the McCain horse in the bumper 9-1 ew although the odds-on favourite looks far and away the best here.

Montana Slim in the Ulster National 5:05 Downpatrick for me. Needs to improve his form to take this but has every chance at the weights if he is ready to fire.

I agree with the Dani Mix fans and have had a little bet at 9/4. It's becoming obvious i'm bored.

That'll do for me - a progressive horse against two exposed horses with question marks <ok>

    Beauty Pagaent 9/4.
The fav at 3.30 will take all the beating in my opinion. Dropping well down the weights plus kirby on board can only be a sign of confidence.

Tough little race that. I thought the outsider was very interesting.

A close 3rd, had to get infront from the outside draw but simply wasnt good enough to hold on. Dissapointing.
