No it's not self contained mate. Just that we all have different oppinions is all. It's called a forum for that reason. IF we ALL agreed that would bore me stupid.

Hi can I hazard a guess at what he was referring to and please don't take offence. I could be wrong but here goes….

For quite some time there has been an anti Pullis sentiment on the board. Perfectly acceptable and a view starting to gain more momentum. The problem may be that nearly all the threads start with interesting questions and comments but within one or two replies, the more vocal come in and comment in a way that takes the thread to yet another anti Pullis theme.
This puts people off from replying to a great extent and tends to inhibit debate. You could argue if more people replied initially then this would not be so noticeable, so bit like chicken and egg.

On a personal level I have not replied to many threads as a result even though the topic to begin with was good, but to be honest that is more my issue than anything anyone has posted.

I nearly posted the other day to say let's CAN a few of the anti Pullis comments -maybe put them on a rant or anti TP thread and leave other threads to good old fashioned debate and banter. This may be a passing phase but there has been a tendency to over egg this on nearly all the threads thus making it self contained to a degree.

No I will not, next statement and don't patronise me.
In my case, the recent anti pulis sentiment started the first time he darkened our doorstep.

May I humbly suggest that seeing you do not agree with my posts, then put me on your 'ignore list'

    Your loss though

    Love 'n hugs

I think you have misinterpreted my post. As for patronising not my style.
I was simply putting my view across as to why Rotter may have taken the view he has. I think I made it clear that I could be wrong.

I also did not say I disagreed with any posts. In fact Having been been raised on Greenhoff, Hudson, John Ritchie, Banks et al and a fan for 40 plus year, I certainly detest our footballing style. I personally feel that Pullis should leave in the summer although I have posted that if he does we may improve style but may find ourselves in a lower division.

As for putting you on the ignore list, why would I do that. I simply feel that at times there is too much Pullis out across every thread and I would personally want more diverse debate.

    Surely nothing wrong with that

I think it was ironic that Rotter posted it, if you look at his threads its like a split personality. Good points though.

Agreed, we have a specific "Pulis Out" thread, but pretty much every other thread ends up the same.
On the other hand, no one is to blame, we're all feeling about the same, and Pulis doesn't even give us anything new to moan about, just the same crap we've moaned about for ages now, and that doesn't really make for the most interesting forum.

I actually think most try and be positive when there is something to be positive about and if I recall correctly the board was buzzing after the Liverpool game. Its potentially more to do with dry humour that sometimes people take out of context.

We could have a praise a& grumble thread where you have to post something positive after anything negative.

i have never hated been a stoke fan as much as i do now! BUT pulis as taken us from the doldrums to the premier league fact. Now i,m not saying i love pulis i want him out but yes he as done as much as he can for stoke city football club. Smithers as for my condractive posts thats why i feel i cannot post anymore because if i praise pulis on here i get vilified if i go against him there is again a moan from someone, its all the same faces we need more stoke fans on here to put there point across. We the stoke clan down the brit saturday STICK together and shout for the team get the brit rocking again and stay in this infernal league. COYMTP. rotter.

Tony Pulis had done as much as he could in the first two seasons but unfortunately cannot take us any further, I can praise him for getting us promoted and the first 2 seasons but not since then, he is out of his league and can't adapt it's sad, but now he is doing more damage than good.
