He' got a great shout on the one for Given in the 3.50 hasn't he Heis? This is from my limited knowledge of the AW.
Henry King falling was a pain in the ass. Haven't yet watched a replay but on initial viewing I thought Jack Doyle may have been at fault as he held onto him until very late and the horse didn't have much time to fall. The eventual winner setting off like that in front didn't help Henry King as he likes to bowl along it in front. Glad to see that he was cantering away after the horrible fall though. Quarl Ego gave it his all but isn't as well handicapped as I thought he may be (although I do feel he's up to winning races off 105). He appeared to jump left handed quite a bit which wouldn't have helped at all and I think we'll see him go left handed on his next start. Given how potentially well handicapped the runner up Magic Haze was, I think that race will turn out to be some very useful form in the future and with only 2 starts over fences I wouldn't give up on Quarl Ego just yet. No harm done to anyone who went e/w but I think the gamble can only be described as going awry.
