    Rapidolyte De Ladalka for me too. Slightly worried that he may not be so effective away from Catterick but he sure does have an extremely unusual running style and could have a chance if he goes at the track. His three wins at catterick have been remarkable. Been completely outpaced only to come flying home and win comfortably every time!

    I'm going to put my money on Sweeney Tunes in the national. Just because it would be quite ironic.

    Because of the jockey? It'd certainly give the headline writers something to play with.

    Was hoping to have a fun holiday bet today, as I'm staying within walking distance of a betting shop, but can't fancy a thing from all those meetings. The Irish National looks a decent race but too many in with a good chance for me to risk a bet. Maybe I'll pick 5 and hope one wins

    On this day of fools it would be impolite of me not to contribute so my magic 8 ball suggests;

    Fairyhouse 4.50: Marasonnien - Mullins thinks this one could be weel handicapped and with the year the man has had, who's to question him
    Fairyhouse 5.25: Pass The Hat - the wily Moore has a live chance in the National but this could be his winner today.

    Actually there are quite a few with good chasing pedigrees. I'm going to give the National a miss today. Good luck everyone.

    Afternoon chaps - I'm back from the land of no or sodding slow, internet connections, and able to partake in the daily bookie bashing practice <ok>

    I hope you all followed my Thursday DT advice and lumped on Realt Mor. You didn't? Prefered Mount Belbulben?? Tut tut boys !!!

    Irish National day and I'm with Stick and Brough re Rapido's chances. Yes it's a minefield, and yes an outsider often wins but this one's an outsider and good enough for me <ok>

    Can't see Tennis Cap being beaten in the 3-40, but at 7-4 not a tempter :)

    Good luck all
