Di Canio is our manager and he will
    Get my full support.
This post or whatever is on FB will not change the fact he is our manager.

Put the past in the past & move on.

Fair enough mate probably won't change anything but I need to voice my very strong and long held views on the far right! I also think he is wrong for the club, I will support the club always but it does not mean I have to like the manager and will be vocal in that opposition!

    Read away: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Manifesto_of_Race

"The Manifesto of Race, published in July 1938, declared the Italians to be descendants of the Aryan race. As its title implies, it targeted races that were seen as inferior (i.e. not of Aryan descent). In particular, Jews were banned from many professions and could have their property confiscated. Under racial laws, marriages between Italians and Jews were abolished, Jews were banned from positions in banking, government, and education, and their properties were confiscated[clarification needed]. These laws also targeted African races."

    Not racist?

If we believed everything we read in newspapers it'd be a pretty **** state of affairs. BBC printed he was under investigation and Paolo denied it. Nothing ever came of the football league's investigation so I guess he didn't racially abuse that player froggy. He openly admitted to Hus fascist views in 2005 but, having listened to someone on talksport tonight who knows him personally, he said he has moved past that to some extent. He certainly isn't a racist

You're a socialist? I'd never have guessed

Hope you don't mind, but I actually used your post about the Liverpool fans chanting about Thatcher's eventual death with my students last week 'cos of the way you structured the sentence (not kidding!)

Disagree here with you though. Someone who meets Holocaust survivors and still hangs on to his fascist views (this was shown on Italian TV) is not for me. I don't like Di Canio, and never will.

That said, I don't want his vile politics clogging up every thread here, I detest him, but hope he does turn things round and we stay up.

****ing hell you want to teach us history?

Teach us who introduced "Concentration Camps" ?
Teach us who were the first country to tour the World thinking they were the superior race and could do what they liked with the indigenous peoples?
Teach us who Hitler wanted to emulate?

Can I just say. His appointment was announced about 10pm (maybe before) so posting thus was completely pointless froggy. He is our manager and no amount of likes or shares can change that. He manages the club I support. If you feel that strongly about it I guess you'll be finding another club? Or refusing to attend matches? This is pointless. Our club needs support. Nothing more, nothing less. Get behind the manager of the team his right wing views are completely irrelevant when it comes to the club. If he was gay would you let that cloud any judgment on his managerial skills? No because it his belief and decision in his personal life. Nothing to do with football

Sorry Marcus but fascism is a far right ideology which is racist! Di Canio has openly stated his admiration of Mussolini who was a racist and ran a racist fascist state which Di Canio so loves so in my eyes that along with the fascist salute and alleged racism at Swindon makes him a racist!

100% correct. Totally agree with you. We live with their legacy to this day, just look at the laws that have come into act in the last 70 minutes.

As someone who had family subjected to Italian Racial Laws back in the day I find Fascism and Fascists hard to stomach.

So your posting of something from 1938 is more valid?

I have no idea which laws have come in in the last 70 minutes!!!!!!

Bloody hell have you got bugs in place?
