Hi all, Sorry I'm not a prolific poster on here but I am trying to spread the word of this. Now that Wycombe Wanderers Trust now run Wycombe Wanderers FC and are trying to steady the financial ship, we must acknowledge we are a small club but a great family, community club that must pull together. As a result, a group of supporters are walking 23 miles to Oxford prior to our match there on Saturday April 6th to help raise much needed funds for the club. You can read more here: http://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/fun...bewandererssupporters&faId=301122&isTeam=true Anyway, my plea is this: please, if any of you feel us worthy, and have any spare cash, to donate any amount you possibly could. Sorry to come on here begging, but we need all the help we can get! I posted the message on a Sheffield Wednesday forum as we have a good rapport with their fans in particular, and the response has been overwhelming; it's fantastic to think fans of bigger clubs in particular still appreciate the smaller clubs, the financial challenges they face and help them to keep their clubs. Please leave any questions, messages etc and I will respond in kind. Help to spread the word too! We are making great progress so far. Cheers guys.
I see the name John Bartlett on the list of walkers. Surely this isn't the John B that was my school mate at the Tech. Maybe he has a son of the same name.
Hello DJWWFC Please for the best interests of what you are trying to achieve do not post items such as this on GC. They are more than welcome on this board. I have deleted your duplicate from that area. thanks brb
was considering doing the walk myself but couldnt commit in advance... i will sponsor you though, pleasently surprised to see the amount you have raised! sorry if im being thick BRB but whats GC out of interest?
The Gates of Hell where humour and satire reaches a level not understood or welcomed by your average punter. Otherwise known as General Chat whereas you should not venture if easily offended.
Sorry brb about that. Anyone still welcome to join the walk, josewwfc. Message back if you are still interested. And thanks for the support
