7 games left and you have appointed a manager without any premiership experience. Would you agree this looks like a desperation move?

People said o'neill was the man to get us out of this position, he looked totally lost and out of his depth in my eyes for the last 8/9 months.

Anyone fancy betting on us going 451 at home against bottom of the league now hoping for nicking a 1-0 win?

What about if you go 4-3-3 and lose 4-0?

At least we'll give it a go like we should have done yesterday. 5 minutes left and he brought on a left back for a left back... We had nothing to lose and he bottled it.

Yes it does look like a desperation move. I'm not sure why you would sack MON straight after a defeat to Man Utd, as if any other result was likely.

Di Canio might even bring himself on, tell AJ to swing it in from the right touchline into the back corner of the box as he charges in, launches himself of the ground and volleys it into the back of the net. Just have to hope his knees still have it

Not desperation, I would say shrewd. No doubting in my eyes we were going down with Martin ONeil in charge, so have nothing to lose with this appointment. He will instill passion and fight, what we need in the next 7 games. just think if you don't get a result against Fulham and we turn you over, with our new found belief we would leap frog you and who would be desperate then ?

A bit like Shearer with us. They guy does not have much to lose. Everyone seems to be (prematurely in my eyes) of the opinion Sunderland are going down so if he keeps them up he has done a brilliant job and if he fails then it was on the cards anyway. He could well motivate the players however he has fallen out with a few from Swindon too. It is a gamble, however probably the best option available.

Ronson - that name reminds me of lighter fuel - can I suggest that you light one of your own farts with said lighter

ps try sparking said lighter near your mouth as this will provide more methane than your arse

Why not sign Marlon King whilst you are at it.Shame of football.See his salute after Rome derby.
You are a great club. This is just wrong. He should never be in a position of influence
