Not "certain" at all. You're changing your tune now. Big difference between 37 and 42. Best stick to worrying about your own team mate.

I'd say it is pretty much certain, there's no way Villa, Sunderland and Wigan won't get at least 6 more points.

Really? Sunderland look like they may not get many more points at all and if Villa lose today, they will be on a real downer too. Wigan could get another 6 points, although they have tricky away games next to come.
Anyway, as I say, you started off by saying we needed 42 points.....nice back tracking....well done.

What I actually said was "IF" Villa win then it will be in the region of 42 to stay up. If Villa lose it will probably be around 39-40. Either way, you're clutching at straws.

And I'll continue to do so till we can no longer mathematically stay up.
IMO 38 points will almost certainly keep us up.....possibly 37 will do.

Why? They are a solid side but hardly unbeatable.

Good point Matt. We do have the advantage of knowing we are in the do-do and have been for ages and therefore know what we need to do. Others may be waking up their plight more slowly and may be less mentally prepared.

Teams that have picked up points and moved semi-safe may not have the same 'drive' to get points from now on. We know it's 'sh*t or bust' and every game is a Cup Final. There will be some twists and turns to come, we just have to keep winning and everyone writing us off may just be our big advantage...

By my reckoning one of Villa,Wigan and Sunderland will only pick up another six points. So,if we assume that Reading are not going to get more than tihrteen (A safe assumption I reckon) then that puts two teams on 36-7.If you are still down there that will be the safety line for survival. If you are going to survive then I think the bar rises to 38-9.

Hoping for draws has been a waste of time for about 3 months. We NEED a Win tomorrow - 1 point is not enough. But there is absolutely no reason why we can't beat Fulham again, we've already done it this season, all Harry has to do is get Adel playing near his best like in that game, that and get a half decent performance from our Keeper.

Or 37 and improve a place due to better goal difference.
