    True, but can't see him carrying on that goal scoring form (although happy to be wrong). Just mean it would be nice for him to go put in an awesome performance like we've seen from Suarez, Coutinho, Gerrard in recent weeks where everything he does is good and sets up a few goals etc.

    Nice little stat here from bbc live text.

    Liverpool lead the Premier League in goalscoring in the 2013 calendar year - on 26 goals. No other side has scored more than 20 times in 2013

    With Carr a target for the summer, we could have Carr Agger on our team sheet even with Carragher retired.

    Really happy with the starting 11. Sturridge was poor in the last 2 games, the drop should prove a wake up call.

    Suarez is playing as if he thinks his legs are 7ft long and all defenders will run away from him.

    Optimistic and full of confidence today I think.

    Already some nice shows of understanding tween Cout and Suar. Cout seems very unselfish on ball... seems smart when to tap on and when to play... I really do think he could become one of the best players.

    Has started really well and seems to have good understanding with Suarex and Enrique down the left hand side. He's only 21 as well so plenty of time to improve.

    We look the better team but letting some dangerous breaks attack our defence. We could do with an anchor man.

    Still so shaky at the back when crosses come into the box.

    Good save from Reina, luckily was straight at him though otherwise would be 1-0 down.

    I have no problems with it if our players don't lose the ball like Enrique did.

    And by the way; after dicking about with it for 5 passes it was given to Reina under pressure who then did exactly that: punted it straight to Villa.

    We don't remotely have enough confidence in defence for it. All over the place. As I type: great save from Reina....
