Here here kidda. This is a very dark day for SAFC not a day for celebration or fellow Mackem goading. The OP is a ****ing tosser for posting this but sadly indicative of many SAFC fans at the moment. I'm tired of it all mate to be honest.
One of the very reasons you rarely see me on here now mate. It's a ****ing sad day when one of your so called 'own' takes delight at the demise of his club.
It really is a sad day when a Sunderland fan cant see that this is a sad day not one for celebration. SAFC will of course survive it and move on but to be honest, I am pst caring at the moment.
this has not just happened its been coming all season its the way footy works ,its a result buissness not about sentiment,do you think he was going to change his ways , because we post daft things on here, get real , the man who got the sack deserved the sack.
I suspect that like many of us you are bewildered by this event. The OP is a blight on the club and its history of suffering of those fans who have the club in its heart and not in the glory aspect of results.
i'm with Mackemwelder here..people like you sunderlandstu just don't have a clue...to have this vitriolic attitude when a manager is sacked by the club with 7 games to go is unreal. There is a saying..be careful what you wish for. I fear our club will fall faster than a hookers knickers now...will you be happy then????
Nostalgic - I just cant see the timing being right here? Managers come and go as do players but was with Bent and Gyan and now MoN, the timing is everything and this is the wrong timing imo. We wont attract a really good manager with 7 games to go and but will no doubt attract a dickhead like Hughes or McClaren easily. Di Canio is a ****ign fruitcake but might instal some passion for the remaining 7 games? Who knows but this whole episode has drained me totally mate. I'm totally flat this morning.
I am gutted he's gone. However this season panned out I wanted him here at least till January. No manager will keep us up. They can't change us into continental style side over night so therefore must be a Keane type and fire us up for a couple of wins & a draw. After the second half yesterday & the team selection I saw enough to keep us up. It only went wrong when he tinkered with subs which lost us our momentum, that & the constant diving of Ashley & persie.
look here who has put us in this mess , the timing leaves us gasping , there was no passion there and it was plain to see, if were going down lets go fighting , what did you expect 1 point from the drop and he was not worried. its people like yourself who havent got a clue, lets hope that walford goes too half the problem imo
I bet you are not as flat as that hedgehog in front of our house, cheer up mate nobody wanted mon in more than me loved the bloke but i couldn't see things improving under him so we move on. this is what supporting sunderland is.
We were never going to beat Utd mate and there was enough 2nd half to suggest a team still with the belief and the ambition to carve out 6 or 7 points. As it stands we could just implode at Chelsea next week imo and then disappear without a whimper after next weekend. He didn't tinker by the way. Bardsley was knackered and needed replacing and Gardner is the only option there at RB. Johnson was utter ****e and should have been replaced at 12.02. His hand was always tied behind his back with the shower of ****e squad he had to operate with - lets not forget they have sacked 2 managers now inside 16 months.
Agree 100% some 'supporters' seem to be more interested in laughing at fellow supports than worrying about our future
Still feel gutted and deflated, I honestly thought MON would keep us up and start a clear out in the summer. I rarely come on here as well, mostly due to the anti Irish sentiment camouflaged as anti ONeil by the minority I must add.
No doubt the self serving will be gloating over MON going. I suggest they go to spec savers to get their myopia sorted out. This is a huge setback for the club.
I feel exactly the same mate. Completely gutted O'Neil was the man to restore our pride or so I thought. Just can't see any light at the end of this tunnel. Ignore the anti Irish brigade mate they're a very small minority (just the one I think). I ****ing love the place and am ex army.
