totally agree, rather take a risk on a bloke like Di Canio who is a fighter rather than a McClaren or a Hughes, mayaswell of kept MoN
Think you burned your bridges with Brucey - besides, same goes for him as Poyet - Why leave a club on the up to a club on the slide. Who in their right mind would swap a club with the upper-hand in a promotion race for a relegation battle with only a handful of games left? Not much time to turn it around for anyone is there? Anyone taking you on at this moment has to be happy with the prospect of managing in the championship next season, and dealing with the resulting cost-cutting to comply with financial fair-play. Both Bruce and Poyet have higher ambitions at this moment in time I feel. Bruce has had backing at Hull, but he has been tactically astute and hasn't put a foot wrong there so far. Plays a 3-5-2 with pacey wingbacks and alternates the mix of the central 3 in midfield (2 sitters to 1 creative player or vice-versa) depending on the opposition, home or away to very good effect. Not afraid to switch to 4-4-2 if it isn't working - but then, he has the players to do it at Hull in the Championship.
I've said this in other posts remember the picture of him giving the Fascist Salute when he played gore Lazio. I'd rather Mary Poppins than him. I ****ing hate fascist and want him no where near the club!
That would be my response to a club employing Di Canio also. Gonna need a thick-skinned press officer if you employ him.....
If he comes here and keeps us up he can walk into the dugout tattooed from head to toe in swastikas with deutschland uber alles playing for all i care.
Fascist. Communist. Same extremist nonsense. The question is would he keep us up? Anyone who can do that gets my backing.
I did not want Bruce in the first place. I just think mon needed a bit more time. I just hope and pray we dont end up With mcClaren I will be gutted.
If you had money then you wouldn't have signed Danny Graham. Oh, and "boring" Sheve Mclaren has done more in the English game than MON - Fact.
I feel exactly the same. If we stay up, we stay up. Fascism is a strange political system but people seem to bandy the word around nowadays not knowing what it means. It's not racism. Hitler was a racist fascist but fascism, as it originated in Italy, is more about Italy being great rather than any other race being ****. Di Canio shouldn't have made that salute but he did.Anyway politics and football shouldn't really go hand in hand so I'm not getting into that. If he were to come in and keep us up I'd forget all about it. Let's face it. Fascism has given birth to some strong, strong leaders who can rally a group of easily impressionable and dim witted people into a fantastic fighting force. We could do with that over the next seven games.
Strong leaders until they get found out then get hung from lamp-posts for taking their followers to poverty, defeat and despair....
