I felt Luque was unlucky...He almost scored on his debut, after he rounded a keeper and unfortunately shot wide.
If he had scored that might've been a totally different story for him

Also, I think Pancake should not be up there, considering he did score a beauty in the Championship for us, and was nothing more than a low risk signing for us then.

Some debate to be had here. I think Pancrate was poor but not as bad as many other players we've had, plus his signing helped keep momentum in the championship (alongside his Watford cracker).

Contentious but I don't think Ranger deserves inclusion, he had a few cracking games for us (4-4 anyone?) and part of the reason we were all annoyed by how much of a tool he is/was is because of how good he looked when he first played for us (I rated him higher than Carroll).

I also think Tomasson and Viana were mishandled (Tomasson clearly a good player but unlucky with Shearers injury and then played out of position for the entire season) and Guivarch though clearly rubbish only player a couple of games for us and didn't he score? He was named the Premierships worst ever striker by the Daily Mail which is a touch harsh, 4 games and 1 goal.

I've chosen to be optimistic, in Boa's honour, so have decided "worst" means morally defunct for the purposes of my selection. Tis actually a good side, though I can't find a keeper who deserves to top off the side.

Gandalf. For a keeper pick Perez as he played for the mackems and you hear other players saying he was a bit of a prima donna (not morally bad though as far as i know).

Why is Tiote in there? You could justify Steven Taylor or hits-on-everything Solano easier i would have thought.

Thanks... girly Perez in nets it is!

Fraud I believe, haslam. He had his car towed by the police over some insurance scam or other a few weeks ago... As a footballer, that's just a little bit repulsive to skimp money on.

Also it adds to the team's nice little combination of thuggery, racism and robbery!

Showed videos from games of yesteryear on the way to the game and on the way back, Gillespie had some really good games for us.
