He's a very intelligent guy and has done some great things with some clubs but I wonder whether his heart is in the game anymore.

Get him now. We missed out years ago and god knows where we'd be now if we'd got him. I say, get him in this week gfh and ****ing back him financially. Fat chance of any of that happening of course

I'd love O'Neil as manager but my only worry is if he doesn't get his own way is he going to have a hissy fit and walk out on us a week before the start of the season like he did with Villa

i like o'neil and think he could do a decent job at leeds. my thoughts are though that he plays a lot of long ball football, he also has no idea how to use squad rotation which cost celtic the league twice. its also a long time since he had to work outside the top flight, does he have the desire to drop down? last point is that he likes to splash the cash, seems we do not have any.

You might have to fight it out with the Leicester board on this one. They seem to fancy him. I think he might quit the game,he's not looked happy for a few years.

On one level, he'd be a great signing - knowledge, experience, etc. Weighed against this is all of the above - needs funds, hissy fits, long ball. On balance, thanks but no thanks.

O'Neil has spent a lot of money at recent clubs and on players who did not perform for him. Thre was a good interview on 5 live yesterday and it suggested that his successful managerial period was when John Robertson was his number two. For me he was great for Leicester, not sure on his recent form. We need a shake up and so my vote is for Paolo Di Canio.

I think he was good years ago.

    Should become a TV pundit.

Lots of money, way less stress.
