Sissoko's free role is proving to be useless now and I think he needs a withdrawn role to find some form again. The 4-2-3-1 has also been dry for a while. Anita can't control a ball period. Obertan has the work ethics of a 14 year old Cat. Alan Pardew has set his tactics out as if to invite City in and "try" and break us down which with their individuals they bloody well will do! absolute amateur stuff there tactically. I hope in the next half that our strategy set out a little more akin to what would be expected from a professional Football manager and we can maybe restore a little dignity by the end of the game.

    Bloody inept pardew, sit back
And invite pressure, granted I don't expect cavalier football but give me strength

Sorry but this is a disgrace from Pardew. The way other results are currently going this could be a very bad weekend for us.

I am fuming at the tactics here, or lack of. Why go to City and try to absorb the pressure with no attacking intent at all? They WILL score eventually, and now they will score 4-5.

We are back in amongst the **** now.

Today's game was never going to define our season lads, the next 2 home games against Fulham and Sunderland could though. 4 points at least a must

Unfortunately though, we have the second worst GD outside the bottom 4.

    This spanking was not needed.

True, but if we are going to rely on GD to stay up then there is something wrong. We have 33 points at the moment, 37/38 points will most likely keep you up this season. I would be very surprised if we don't get at least 5 points out of the remaining 7 games.

With Wigan possibly ending the day on 31 point with a game in hand, why the hell are people saying things like 37/38 point will keep us up? Wigan could be on 34 if they win their game in hand and they are currently 3rd bottom...

I think we need 42 or so to be absolutely sure and judging by the gutless performance I've watched today that will be a big ask.

I think we'll be in this mess until the last game or two. Sunderland gave Man U a canny game in the second half today. We've been criminal against City. I am really really worried now. I don't know why anyone would think we can easily get 4-6 points from our next two games. We HAVE to, but that doesn't mean we will..

Well we will just have to wait and see how the next few games pan out. Don't forget we were missing 5 first team players today. So I don't know what you were really expecting, we all know our squad depth isn't good enough at the moment hence the 'gutless performance'. As for the amount of points that will keep you up this season... Wigan, Villa, Sunderland, Norwich etc will all drop points from now to the end of the season you can be sure of that. Granted its not been the best weekend results wise but a bit of perspective is needed here people, all today has done is put more pressure on our next 2 home games where we will hopefully have Santon, Debuchy, Tiote and Colo back.

Terrible today. Will be cheering on Liverpool tomorrow. Hate relying on other teams to help us out.

That was a shambles. Only person to come out of that looking good was Elliott.

Pardew again was poor, no attacking intent or threat in the first half and ran out of ideas in the second.

Its starting to get very tight at the bottom and there aren't many games left, need to start winning the win-able games and putting up more of a fight in the harder games.

    Alright lads

We're both right in it now. Luckily for you you've got the worst team on form at home in a couple of games so you should be fine <ok>

once again we cannot keep players fit ..its always injury after injury that fooks us ,, for years this is the root of the problem and always will be , unlucky or not ..its a fact i think.

cant wait until i have seen the last of obertan and simpson.. rubbish
