My Dad was at the Village Gym too when they arrived and got a photo with Steve Bruce. I'm tempted to go down to The Village now (as I'm planning to watch the game there later) and see if I can talk to any of them, however I imagine they'll be gone by the time I arrive.
Good point, I didn't realise Everton vs. Stoke was on ESPN at around the same time as our match. I'll ring up and check now, however I'm pretty confident they'll at least have one screen with the game on as I imagine there'll be quite a few Hull and Town fans there.
They never had City pull up there when I was working there. Did get to see Roy Keane when he turned up with Sunderland and Gareth Southgate in the bar once though- was just missing Lee Dixon for the set! Remember the head chef (who was an utter ****er) getting berated by Mick Mcarthy for the standard of the food in there.
He's alright, just got the head chef at Leeds Village North to sort them out, I prefer him to his replacement. I assume you'll know who I mean!
