United confirm that coach John Carver has been found guilty by the FA of his misconduct charge and fined £1,000 in addition to being warned over his future conduct - although he wasn't handed a ban. I know £1,000 wont harm Carvers pocket, but wouldn't it be great if 2,000 of us donated just 50p each to pay it off for him and cock a snook at the dimwitted geriatrics at the FA Headquarters?
Hope all this new found fame wont go to Carver's head and he'll be getting stuck into his opposite numbers in every game now. MYLAUNCHPAD 5 hrs ago Lebanon Daily Star 13 hrs ago ESPN Soccernet 13 hrs ago AOL UK 14 hrs ago Yahoo! UK and Ireland Eurosport 14 hrs ago Getting quite a lot of coverage.
No. These people earn way more than us average folk do. They won't need our money, and that's the truth. I do watch American Football, a few years ago some player was fined (something like 300k USD). He was interviewed and he said something along the lines of people sent him money, and he sent them back. And during the interview implored the public not to send him any money.
I know they earn more than us and don't need our money, it was just to point out to the people handing the fine out what buffoons they were.
Ridiculous more like. I barely give a toss about Carver's fine (apart from its unfairness!) and I'm a toon fan. Why should people in the middle East give a fig?
" Carver's Fine " That's a bit of an understatement AB, he's fantastic and the envy of most other clubs in the Country.
