    I didn't realise he'd joined the Wendies on loan till the end of the Season. That's the last we've seen of him then, his contract's out in Summer isn't it?

    Sort of player we could do with in the middle of the park, tough tackling, no nonsence player. We are too lightweight at the minute in the middle of the park.
    Did he get injured for you or just not worked out for him?

    He's not as physical as you think. For his size and build, he's actually quite a bit of a fairy. He had an alright run of form at the beginning of the Season but he's just been a disappointment really. He'd be alright if he wasn't on one of the highest wages at the Club.

    The bit in bold isn't necessary. If he were the size of Messi and playing in a team with Alan Carr and Julian Clary alongside him he'd still be the biggest fairy in the team, although that's a bit harsh on JC, there's nothing he likes more than a tackle from behind.

    Could count on one had the good games he had for us....that and a fat pay cheque (not his fault I now) makes him surplus to requirements....

    Lol.

    Basically he's black so everyone assumes he's a strong, committed and enthusiastic African. Thing is that's bollocks. He's skilful on the ball and very hard to dispossess, but if the team are defending you're basically a midfielder down with Oli in there. People just walk right past him.

    Tom Cairney has a similar thing because he's a skinny little white boy with poncy hair so everyone thinks he's a jessy but he actually gets stuck in.

    Are you serious??? "Tough tackling, no nonsense player". He's the biggest fairy ever to wear our uniform. Can't tackle his way out of a paper bag. Backs off 50/50 challenges every time. Slow as molasses. My grandma is tougher than him. Good riddance to a lightweight who's cost us a fortune and contributed nothing, :embarrassed:

    interesting comments guys and thanks for putting me straight. To be fair I think it was back when he played for Wolves I saw him and always had a good solid game, but after reading your comments then he certainly is not what we need.

    <laugh>

    Glad to clarify that for you <ok>

    He's past it really. He looked as though he'd regained some form when he was on loan at Cardiff, and I think I can remember them wanting him permanently but he got injured and never found himself again. Waste of wages.

    He had a trial with our ladies team, but they didn't think he was physical enough.

    Gone to the Wendies to link up with the only manager(dave jones) who can get him playing properly. Plus i bet they have offered him a contract if he helps keep them in the championship. Good Luck Oli, Not your fault the Dufferman overpaid you. Nobody on here would reject stupid wages in there jobs.
    The Wendies have also taken Bolton/USA player Staurt Holden and Hartlepools ex.Lesta striker Steve Howard on season loans.

    As for Hull City, well SB can get better in now for what Oli is being paid.

    Not until the summer he can't, the loan window closed yesterday. (hence the ridiculous amount of loans that seemed to go through compared to previous days)
