I would guess that after pre-season and round 2 of the COC i would assume they will go out on loan somewhere. They are good kids but need to play first team football. Then again the BPL reserve league wont be that bad either. But yes they have what it takes. Good Luck lads. It upto you now.
All but 3 of the 2nd year scholars have been given one year contracts, not going to name them unfair on the lads missing out.
Haha, no it doesn't work like that ellewoods. You're obviously unfamiliar with our youth set-up. They have to be 'professionals' who don't get anywhere near the first team for at least 8 years, then they get loaned out to Ferriby B team and make a couple of sub appearances for them. They get a taste of first team football in the cup when they turn 28, then get loaned out to Grimsby to see out the rest of their contracts.
It was a sarcastic remark since I know that chances are they will never appear for us or appear once and then never again.
Utter nonsense ^^^^ this. If they are good enough then they will make the first team. Sadly not many yet have been that good so far. Liam Cooper has wasted himself as much as his talent so far. But Townsend and Wilson are the ones to keep an eye on at the moment.
