It doesn't seem five minutes since we were playing them in their shiny stadium, now they're squeaking like Jay Tabb. It's **** for the fans though, and I wonder if there's anything we need to watch for if ever we get different owners. As best I can tell (and I'll stand corrected and don't even war surgical boots), there's some shuffling of assets between subsidiaries of one holding company. All the assets (including the golden share Bates ****ed up with) have been moved from the Football Club Company to another one. The only thing left with the football club company is the lease agreement to play in the stadium. The lease seems to be the root of the issue, with some £1.4mill outstanding on it. The debate seems to be similar to Southampton, where the football element is operational, but some associated companies are to be put in admin, so do they get docked points?
I thought that loophole had been closed and any company directly associated with the football club, which went into admin, would still mean a ten point deduction?
I'm fairly sure it has and that's probably why they're trying to present it as something else. There seems to be a lot of sub-plots going on too. The Council seem to be viewed by the fans as wanting rid of the football Club, which makes no real sense to me.
The council have had Coventry's pants down for years. Their rent is proof of that, I can't remember what it is but it's something astonishing for such a little club. I know a few Cov fans and I've heard a lot of stories and reasons... They're not in a good way anyway, put it that way.

League One's Coventry City have pulled out of the Ricoh Stadium after a falling-out with the stadium's owners. They are currently seeking a location at which they can complete their remaining fixtures.... Guess the Ricoh will be useless without an income stream. Yeah, but it was falling to bits. It was an impressive looking ground back in the day, but by the time they left it was no better than Glanford Park or Roots Hall. The difference in situation between us and them is that our owners have already said that if the council don't play fair then they'll build a stadium of their own, where as Cov's owners will have to look to ground-share with somebody else, as they don't have the financial clout.
I would agree it had seen better days. But the promise of the Ricoh was sold to them on the basis there future was safe. A closer look into that deal should be made now. Things just dont add up (figures aside) @ Coventry City. If all else fails then Maybe ground share at the King Prawn in Lesta would be a better idea. Lesta could do with the extra income ?
Highfield Road.Lovely ground and fans.I remember my 15 year old mate getting his nose broken by a 30 year old during an fa cup tie.The police did f all to stop it.(you r all animals sort it out yourselves)30 year old also nutted a pensioner. Still most Sky Blues are like us and any living in WY will be most welcome to join us in Udders.
I dislike coventry.. ever since that **** dennis wise got an overhead kick against us.. baring in mind he was old too!
