Half the players that Warnock has bought in are reaching the end of their careers: Diouf 32 Tonge Almost 30 Warnock 31 Kenny Almost 35 Drury 34 Green Almost 30 Varney 30 Norris 32 Morison 29 Then is if look at :- Kisnorbo 33 Brown 56 And the dead wood :- Pugh Connolly Bromby Rachubka All I have to say is OMFG................ We don't need a clear out, we need a cull. If we were honest with ourselves, if we were to sell ALL these players, how much would we expect to get for them. 4M, and half of that has to be Morison....

Morning Elland (and everyone else to come), I'm in 'Weary Wullie' mode this morning, so brace yourself! I really wouldn't expect Lees to say anything but what he said. It's a standard trot-out for any player to avoid upsetting your mates. Or perhaps it's just one big party for them and he's too caught up in it to notice our position in the table, the style of football we play etc, etc. I'm also a little surprised at your comments about the players reaching the end of their careers. 30 isn't the threshold it used to be in the old pie 'n' chips days. Modern player lifestyles extend their careers way beyond 30 these days. You also need a mix of youth & experience to be successful. Cast your mind back a few years to players we've signed in their thirties like Collins & Strachan, for example. Both absolutely pivotal for the development & success for LUFC. Couldn't have done it without these old guys. (And lets not forget youngsters like Big Jack!).
I missed the start of that Kissa, so never quite got on board. I did notice however that his friends & family were really upset at the abuse, mainly as he's autistic and doesn't actually understand what's going on. I can't imagine it's not true. It's not the sort of thing you'd like to saddle a loved one with if it wasn't true. So without knowing the whole story, I'm currently left thinking that this was a huge case of mass bullying of someone who's extremely vulnerable. I wouldn't be proud of it if I was involved.
Morning all El, MD posts on Gen chat and the majoirty of them look for a reaction. I like the gen chat lot but they shouldnt really be saying vile stuff like that on club boards. Kissa, I tried to keep up with all that Russ Vernon stuff yesterday but got lost! I think the lads Autistic is he not? I dont think the lads quite right and I feel sorry for him!
WhiteJock I agree with the mass bullying but surely the family and friends should be keeping tabs on him if he is severely autistic They shouldnt A) wait until hes got "engaged" to a 14 year old and B) wait til the whole world calls him a ***** to explain the situation. Autistic or not he shouldn't be talking to kids on the internet. But I did feel sorry for him.

Afternoon all thats joined Hate international weekends. Felt completely lost without no footy on Saturday. I didnt bother going up to watch the locals as I didnt bank on a massive hangover to deal with! Ipswich next. Anyone still interested in the season? Match by match for me, I will always want a result but no point at looking at the bigger picture right now other than replacing Warnock.
