    Caught a 15lbs carp. Respectable, but nothing to phone home about. I'll hope for better next time around.

    Greater love hath no man.....

    As you say, he never wanted to leave and one wonders what would have happened to his career had the situation been different and he was able to stay. Wikipedia lists his at Norwich til 2015 and that he was injured in October and out til the new year. If he gets better, I hope that he gets to play in the Premier League and realises his full potential.

    I just could not resist. Incidentally I have a very old map from 1832 of Southampton by Tallis which refers to the Test as the Anton.

    Surely the Anton is the tributary of the Test which flows through Andover, and joins the Test proper at Fullerton, by the Mayfly pub which used to be the Seven Stars?
