please log in to view this image Hi Paul, Take a look at the Eurofan on the you tube. That'll give you ideas on things to do, how to do it. I would think about trying taking it I the supporters of each club to get their ideas on how best to experience a match day with them. There will be fans of all of those clubs that will be more than happy to show their club off to you. They'll want you to like their club more than any of the others. A lot of those clubs will have podcasts ran done by supporters. They are always looking for stuff to talk about, so try and find out who does what and try and get on their show to explain what you are doing. That'll be a help in getting tickets and stuff as well. Accommodation wise, blag it as much as you can. I don't see the point in basing yourself in central London when you would be moving yourself away from the core support of each club. Good luck.
Finally some usuable infos, thanks to you mate. All the commotion about 'twatty London' and 'badhaircutManchester' isn't that interesting for me, so this is. Some questions: 1) what are podcasts ran? 2) what means 'to blag'? Thanks a lot. Some more advise from the other lads at this forum?
Good questions my Dutch friend.... 1. There is one now if you are quick you can watch it.. 2. Blag is a term coined by your much loved William of orange, and it means to hate Catholics and march with a huge drum annoying people.... No need to Google these facts.
1. A podcast is like an internet radio show downloadable from itunes or spreaker web radio. Supporters of a lot of clubs have taken to doing their own shows by the fans for the fans. 2. To blag is a colloquial term meaning to obtain goods or services for free based on nothing but wit and charm.
Paul, I'm sorry to learn that your experience on General Chat has not met with your expectations. I did advise you to post the opening question on the individual team boards.
