Our 2 youngsters on loan at St.Mirren, where they won Scottish Cup medals, have just recieved news of their NUFC careers. Paul Dummett has been rewarded with a new contract whereas Connor Newton will be released. Think we can safely say others will follow but who?

    Willo
    Simmo (contract expires)
    Obertan
    Harper

Add in Ranger and Xisco already out the door and we are set to have a very busy summer indeed.

I think we need to decide where Gosling fits into our plans and if he is likely to fulfil the promise he had at everton. If they dont think he can maybe he will be shipped out for higher quality?

Think it would be daft letting Cissé go. The lad has spent half of this season playing right wing, has been obviously out of form and still has 10 goals. Why you'd want to sell him is beyond me. Yes bring another striker in for competition but getting shot altogether screams knee jerk reaction.

He has cost us games with misses, granted he has nicked the odd goal.

Maybe a squad player but I just don't rate him, I understand and have defended him earlier in the season
For playing on the wing but the chance s he misses of late have been poor, his link up play is awful And he goes missing

I would definitely keep Cisse. While he can be frustrating, he is the best CF we have and he does get goals (even if he misses the odd sitter). Still rather have him than not.

Didn't Cole have the best goals per game ratio?

I don't think having Ben Arfa missing is helping his form. The system we play appears to be about possession and men behind the ball to prevent opponents from attacking. I struggle to see how we can expect Cisse to flourish when we are using him as a target-man style player - which isn't his strength.

Can see any of the following going, if we get offers:

    Obertan
    Amalfitano
    Gosling
    Abeid
    Sammy

Andy Cole? Used to take him 10 chances to score 1. He wouldn't get 5 goals a season in today's team. Massively overrated for me! I'd rather have Cisse any day!

Technically speaking, the clearout hasn't started. Nobody has been released as of today so we are only hearing rumours and signs, and that's not a clearout yet.

Ref Ben arfa injury effected cisse
I agree that would not have helped him, we have lacked creativity for weeks in general but his of the ball movement
    Is poor

Did you ever cout the number of chances Shearer missed ?

No. Niether has anyone else, because what matters is how many a striker scores, not how many he misses. But I tell you, if I had the time I could make a great video of Shearer missing sitters.

Abeid and sammy deserve another season. They still have the potential to be very good

I can see Abeid being moved on.
He just doesn't seem to have developed as well as we expected.

Christ, can't believe the Cisse bashing. I know he's been out of form but even in the last 2 weeks - without Cisse we would have drawn vs Stoke and still been in a relegation battle, and we would probably have gone to pens and ended up out of the Europa league.

He's into double figures for the season despite being played out of position for half of it and suffering from obvious confidence issues. AND people seem to be forgetting his unstoppable form last season, which he's shown all of his career before joining, and could easily return with a bit of luck.

it's only one persons view fella.
I think Cisse is class and has done well this season given the team has played ****e for the first half.

Yeah true, and I do understand peoples frustration as he has been poor at times this season, but just don't like the fickle attitude of some fans.
