Yep, next year he will be gone if we fail. And we can look forward to more mid table mediocrity. If he goes this summer, I can't see us replacing him with a sufficient alternative.
Last summer they were saying they were going to sign RVP and Suarez instead they ended up with Bendtner on loan That also says to raise the 30m euros! That's about £25m.. like we'd sell him for about the same as we paid for him?

Italian teams are notorious for bigging up their transfer targets, saying they're going to buy big name player from Prem teams. Almost never happens, guessing they do it for their fans, to appease them show ambition and that load of crap. They usually end up buying players from teams in their own league, big teams like Juve buy from Genoa, Udniese etc. Or they buy disaffected players that have played in Italy (think Aquaman or Balotelli) on the cheap. When was the last time an Italian club actually went all out to buy a big name star, 30mil+. They don't cause they can't afford it. Its all bollocks. I'm more worried by clubs like Real Madrid, Barca (don't think they're interested tho), Man City or Bayern (Bayern have had some big transfers in recent summer, usually just one tho)
