Owen accuses Toon of lying.... oh Michael....

Made me laugh when he talked about becoming a manager. Well he is used to sitting on his arse as a bench warmer.

 

I just can't imagine him motivating a team and getting them geared up for a big match, like a local derby between two bitter rivals. Quietly spoken monotone where every third word is "errrrrm" just wouldn't work.

 

I think it was more interesting when he talked about representing youngsters in the game. Whats the betting (no pun intended) that he ends up as an agent once he realises how perfect it is for money grabbers?

 

Now that I can see. He'd know all about the tricks of the trade and negotiating contracts, including going overseas.

 

Anyone else find it hilarious in that brochure the guy talking about his medical record? John Green, the man (who says this strangely as a source of pride) responsible for treating Kieron Dyer, Dean Ashton and yes, Michael Owen...

Why would any player ask him for advice?

Never had a problem with Owen. Just poorly managed as a club at the time. Step forward Fat Fred Shepherd and take a bow. Always felt the fans aimed their ire in the wrong direction, but each to their own.

 

I guess Ashley's lawyers have been in touch... Lol.... Mind out, there's an Owen reversing...

I might've believed him if he'd said it was the case - at the time - not however long after.

I'm sure NUFC would have been happy for him to play for free like other players have done after suffering so much time on the physio table at one club.

Also, why was the 2008 contract not agreed? Money? NUFC obviously felt there was no point on trying again

Well that tells us that he was too much of a prick to take a pay cut in the Championship to help the team get back up. He's such a little ****. Go away Michael and blow one of your prize race horses! That's all you're good for now.
