High praise "Swansea City have educated every one of us in how the game should be played, and Gary worked hard to get us playing that in that manner for the year he was in charge of us." Read more: Wales Online http://www.walesonline.co.uk/footba...agic-gary-speed-91466-33047225/#ixzz2OOYYZZlM "
I have to say i thought the bloke was a cock. But as he gets older the guy just shows that bit of class. Good on him. Mind you next season he will go back to being a cock when he plays against us.
Always been a fan of Bellamy - a great servant to Wales. The only blot on his copybook has been converting the best goal ever scored at The Liberty Stadium........
Ive always liked bellers even when he was playing for the scum, he is a humble guy and says it like it is, when he scored the winner against us a few years back he could have gloated about it but he said it was nice to score but rangel has had the better of him the last few times he played against us, he also has talked the swans up on a number of occasions, all stuff he never needed to say considering the bitter rivalry that exsists between the clubs. Its only the English media that painted him to be a cock, if you've ever seen any interview with him he calls it straight and doesnt bullshit. Probably the only premier league player that has given a **** about wales the last 5 yrs, a proud welshman and im proud of him for it
He's got a few dark incidents in his past which unfortunately taint him for many people, but hey who hasn't made the odd mistake when growing up. what is undeniably true is that he's learnt from his mistakes and conducts himself with grace and class. as alluded by Norway he's never bought in to the regional rivalry and has always been complimentary to us. He's a wonderful ambassador for football and Wales.
Always had a lot of time for Bellers. Has great ability and tells it how it is. As for his attitude and commitment, if we could only bottle it.........
I have always advocated that Bellamy was not the scumbag that the English media painted him to be, yes he has had his black moments, but so has many a player, to me he has shown more loyalty to the Welsh football cause, than Giggsy, and many other's, I have a lot of time for Bellamy, and one day would be pleased to shake his hand!................
