Not fit to be called a 'pub team'. Why do we have to waste time playing these turkeys? They should have to pre-qualify along with other minnows like Scotland and Wales...<laugh>

Does seem a bit pointless, I mean it's not like they're even a patch on the likes of Luton and MK Dons who caused a couple of upsets to PL greats earlier this season ;-)

Its a vital game. This group could come down to who scored more against San Marino, us or Montenegro. Great way to get to Brazil.

San Marino have as much right to be in the World Cup qualifiers as Stoke, Wigan Norwich Reading or West Ham have to be in the premiership

I don't think England will qualify automatically for the World Cup. Hodgeson's far too conservative in the games that really demand a bit of courage and aggression.

That's true, but they could at least try to play, instead of always just trying to limit the score line. They are going backwards and they will never develop unless they become more progressive.

I think they will. IMO Hodgson has them playing some good stuff.

They are nearly as bad as the sweaties or sheep shaggers.

Yes, they played well against Brazil and thumped San Marino (twice) and Moldova. Poland away he reverted to that awful, ultra negative style and Ukraine at home they were pretty poor too. So in the two key games against the supposed stronger teams he didn't have the courage for England to play a more passing game that's he brave enough to employ in friendlies or away games against very, very poor opposition. I think he'll revert to the more cautious approach against Montenegro and we'll come unstuck.

Could be in the Euros. The resignation of their manager was a surprise, but now they have a new man in charge things are looking up.

Anyone know anything about Gerry's brother, Pope Francis? I've heard that he likes to play with two wide men and places great emphasis on peppering the box with crosses.

I resisted the temptation to mention that he is an Argentinian who might rely on the hand of God to help him.

They are building for the future, massive worldwide scouting network, trying to get their hands on as many young players as possible.

Apparently they are hard in the tackle at the back, like to play the channels, and stroke a beautiful ball...
