We'd better start praying its not too serious. It could also be a good thing though now he doesn't have to travel to Africa:-

Stephane Sessegnon has remained on Wearside for treatment on an injury during the international break.

The former PSG man was originally scheduled to join up with the Benin squad ahead of next Tuesday’s World Cup qualifier against Algeria, but has not made the trip.
Sessegnon will remain with the club’s medical staff ahead of next weekend’s game against Manchester United.

This may be the type of injury Arsenal players end up with just before international games - i.e. lets say he's pulled his hamstring so there's no chance of him getting injured!! (Hope so)
