Longsight - if you're offended by the thread then don't continue with it - vote with your mouse. Clearly you have some history that makes you very sensitive to this sort of thing but I don't think that lashing out the way you have is going to change anyone's opinion or stop the thread which is, I guess, what you want.

In reality I suspect that the people on this thread are not sex offenders and I also suspect that viewing or contributing to the thread is highly unlikely to turn someone into one.

If you are really offended then maybe a PM to those upsetting you may be the way forward or PM the mods who are pretty sensible chaps for the most part and if they agree with you they can take action.

I absolutely agree, I should have voted with my mouse, but stupidly I didn't and I am one of those annoying people that if they think someone is being racist or sexist then I tedn to point it out.

I never implied that anyone was a sex offender, and that reading this thread would make that happen.

I don't expect anyone to change their views, but occasionally people do, so I guess that makes it worth saying something.

It might be worth pointing out that if you hit "Go Advanced" when posting, you can put NSFW tags around pictures/text, so people know what they're getting themselves in for. This is a football forum after all.

This thread isn't politically correct but that's the beauty of it! I am sick to death of all this PC nonsense and I'm sick of people who want to be offended on other people's behalf. This is a football forum and this thread is just some harmless fun and anyone who reads more into it than that needs to get a life! The more I think about it the more I realise just how prophetic George Orwell was!
