I think he could help keep a clean sheet against San Marino, well at least for more than 13 seconds.

Do you not appreciate what he's done at QPR?

Clint for England , Yes. Make him captain too. Alongside someone a bit quick he would be brilliant.

We shouldn't play any CB's against San Marino
We should have two defensive midfielders and two wingbacks as our backline
Two central midfielders and four attacking players, two out wide and two through the middle

Clint Hill is our player of the year for a succesive season by a country mile. Truely amazing player who is turning into one of my all time fav R's. Still remember when Warnock signed him and we were told he couldn't play a whole season because of his injury concerns. Way to go Clint, that's how to prove your doubters wrong <ok>

Totally this, he should be a shoe in for both supporters and players player of the year; I'm sure he will be able to do a good job for another couple of seasons ending his career on a high. Just love this guy.

I'd rather see Baines at left back now, Cole has been been very good for England but time for him to move on now he has the 100 caps.

I like Baines, but he never looks as good at International level for me. He's the man to take over for sure though, at least until young Shaw from Southampton gets his chance.

Yeah if Shaw develops he'll be fantastic. I always wondered why Southampton produce so much young talent, then I looked at the catchment area..they have two academies, one in Southampton and one in Bath (maybe Bristol).

Same here, Baines is better and Hart has made so many mistakes this season despite not having much to do. He deserves to be dropped.

They dont produce it, they steal the players from other academies.

Southampton produce brilliant footballers IMO always have done,

They deserve to play at the top table and they are our brothers IMO you would be hard pushed to find a better role model of a club in the Premiership. They will help us survive I know it by beating Sunderland.

The fishing is good on the Icthen too!

    Disagree on both counts.
Hart is so far ahead of anyone else, he has to start. Baines isn't as good at International level as Cole, even though Cole is not as good as he once was.
    All opinions though eh?
