    They should have given the job to Howard Webb... he is fair and nonbiased towards united. :rolleyes:

    it's just a fact that you cannot prevent allegiances from affecting your decisions even if you think they are not yourself, and that's if you are trying to be impartial.

    To put it another way, you always hate other little ****ers for doing stuff but when it's your own it's boys will be boys, not because you are corrupted but because that's the way the brain works.<ok>

    Those who fight this natural instinct end up going to far the other way and are too hard on their own. Middle ground impartiality is very rare indeed, Nirvana is required, and not the CD:)

    Sadly this is the bias we have come to expect. The FA's biggest cash cow needs to be successful to keep the PL ball rolling, that means favouritism from top (FA board) to bottom (referees/officials). Doesn't work in Europe though.
