Score line says it all really. Very impressive result. Notable performances from Boga, Feruz, Baker and Ake, and also Blackman in goal. Exciting prospects the lot of them.

Might I add - this is coming after defeating Barcelona U19s - into the semi finals they go!

Juve were the only unbeaten team left in the NextGen series until today. I saw bit's of the first half and they couldn't get the ball off us. Baker and Loftus Cheek looked so good in midfield.

Aston Villa beat Olympiakos 1-0 on Wednesday night whilst Spurs scored two late goals when 3-1 down to Sporting Lisbon to send their game into extra time, Sporting were not to be denied scoring two in extra time to run out 5-3 winners and ruin an all English semi-finals

Arsenal play CSKA Moscow this coming monday and the draw has already been made for the semi-finals

Chelsea were drawn with Arsenal or CSKA and Villa drawn with Sporting

Both semi finals to be played a week today with the final on Monday 1st April

Just hope some break through. Saw an article earlier where Kakuta has basically said he doesn't want to come back to us as he know he wont get more than 10 minutes a month!!

What I can't work out is that Kakuta looked really good in the few cameos he gave us so why did he never get more of a run?

because overrated, overpaid planks like Florent Malouda were stopping players like Kakuta from flourishing.

With Kakuta, several different managers didnt help. How many managers did he have and how many actually seen him train because he was out on loan instead

But dont dismiss the fact that he didnt even get into the Bolton and Fulham sides, and there is no planks like Malouda holding him back there plus Owen Coyle was always one for playing the loaners i.e. Wilshere and Sturridge

So much potential, but we must have stability of mgmt in the first team for these players to come through, otherwise they will not be given sufficient chances to prove themselves.
