Thanks for the info! The Barclays PL channel shown I think all over the World outside the UK, gives far more than BBC. In Norway we get three of Saturday 3pm matches live on TV, the rest at that time "live" on the nett, and all in replay later, all the other PL games at other times are normally anyway, are shown live, Then there is more than enough replay of whiole games, highlights, analysis and punditry all week- the big Clubs get mos focus of courset, but there's a lot of focus on the relegation battle, and certainly plenty on us, so MOTD is superflous for me. When I see it when in the UK there seems little of the action and way too much bullsh*t after. A lot of stuff from the BBC is stoped on the nett here as well, but I will try your link, especially if next season we have gone down - cover of the Championship is not quite so good here!
From my "neutral" Fulham point of view, Taraabt is an excellent player who destroyed us at LR this season. My problem with him is attitude and consistency, and for this reason, I doubt he will ever play at the very highest level.
Adel's cameo against Villa was just what was required. Unfortunately his genius means he can sometimes go the other way and be maddeningly frustrating. But then you can't have one without the other. But has anyone else noticed that you can tell exactly how Adel is going to play from the first time he receives the ball in the match? I was praying for a good first touch or pass from him against Villa as I knew that would set the tone for the rest of the game. And he duly delivered with that control and turn in the middle of the park. But many's the time I've seen him miscontrol his first touch of the game or put a pass astray and you just know from then on he's going to be chucking his arms about in frustration as his game unravels and he ends up trying too hard.
Mr Consistency is our Col. His one line, or occasionally two word, responses to unwelcome visitors to this board always crack me up.
Well done Norwich great job staying up however I have my head in the sideboard eating cream crackers while I trichulate onto a damp sponge
Cols, shall we say, concise replies are suitably straight to the point, but DT's just crack me up.......
It's not indicative of that at all. Yours is a commonly held view which is frankly incorrect and mostly based on the player he once was. He has poor games where not much comes off for him but who doesn't? Even when he's having an average day he scares the opposition at the very least and when he has a day where it clicks there are genuinely not many defenders anywhere that can live with him.
No Claridge is the biggest knob end critic there is on any football programme ever!!!! That is complete daylight robbery that anyone would pay him for his opinion!!! Twattt!!!!
Spoke to a Stoke fan I know through a mate and he said they are getting fed up, on the Stoke board now there are calls for Pulis to be sacked. Most fans can accept 2-3 seasons of hard work/grit and digging out results but when you spend huge money it's not much to ask for more ambition and to be able to give the bottom sides a game of football. Watching Stoke play away from home against any side is the equivalent of watching Barca play at the Nou Camp against English/Italian opposition. Pulis odds are shortening, this is now Stoke's 5th consecutive season in the PL and there is no change. I genuinely believe they will go down next season (along with Sunderland) because teams have now worked out how to play them away from home and home form was the only thing keeping them in the league.
You may need to add in this country which of course is not the highest level anymore ... he fits the Spanish, German French and Italian Leagues like a glove.
