Why would Poyet take the Reading job .................... Reading almost certainly going down, when he may achieve PL status with Brighton?
I can't see his paypacket changing too much, so it can't be that .................... your thoughts???

You never know what is going on in the background at Brighton. If his relationship has broken down with Tony "The Lizard" Bloom then that would be reason enough.

Quite simply I think reading is a bigger club with better long term prospects.

Brighton are on their way and I think they will grow into a full time Premiership team ... the City is full of money and the catchment area is growing very quickly. I am told they will need to extend the capacity into the high 30's. Out of the two is term of fashion and spotlight Brighton wins it hands down IMO ... this will be all about Poyet's career who has already been in the papers talking about his next move ... such is football today. Also last time i looked Reading were above us they have just a good as chance of us escaping do they not?

No way NUTSY. If anything I'd say its the other way around, given Brighton's trajectory in recent years.

Brighton regularly got 30,000 plus gates at the Goldstone in the 60s and 70s, if they get to the PL they would need to extend their new ground. They have fantastic potential with a large catchment area for support compared to Reading who seem to be destined to never quite make it...
