Is there much point in Kovi running in Q2? He's unlikely to overhaul the Force India cars so he may as well save a set of tyres for the race.

WCB, he's not been out yet, so maybe thats the plan.

    EDIT: He's just gone out.

EDIT: And just beaten the two Force India's, although they were on primes and he was on options.

If Force Indias are out on primes maybe Kovalainen thinks it's worth a punt on options. Maybe they'll make a little mistake or something.

Looks to be working so far...

EDIT - He starts 15th. Is it on merit? Well, it's not on speed but Lotus gave him a car that didn't burst into flames and a decent gearbox and then strategised him past the Force Indias.

Somethings gone wrong when Maldonado almost outqualifies Alonso.

Very lucky Massa - though can't see him getting higher than 9th

    Excellent job by Kovalainen.

Agree with both of these. Would be great for Maldonado to put himself in a position to score points and would certainly help the current perception of his abilities.

No way. Red Bulls so far ahead they're fighting each other? Another run on options?

EDIT: No. It's over. Well done Webber.
