Not sure why your digging me out but I do actually go to games, maybe not as often as some of you but im not after anorak status, but nonetheless I do go when I have the time.
I would hardly think going to games makes you 'anorak status' Cerny......It makes you a loyal fan AND it's bloody 'YOU'RE'.............(Sorry one of my pet hates along with double negatives).......
We need people on here to not go to games, who's going to keep these threads going while the men ( and Beth ) go to war? We need something to read when we get home from the battle. I love pouring a large glass and reading the posts and emotions on the match thread to see if they echo mine at that precise time they occurred.
Maybe anorak is a poor choice of words but the last thing I need is sb digging me out for not getting to games, like I say I get down when I can, I work a lot of weekends and my mum is very ill, but don't let that stop you all getting a cheeky dig in
I understand how can you make many games as you have a senior mistress to pork ... not cool bringing an illness into it ... we all have problems mate You talk the talk so with that means you may have to do like me mince a bit in the privacy of your own home
Thats why we're here Nines..to keep you entertained when you arrive home with 3 points you've raped and pillaged from the enemy Keep up the good work. Clive, credit to you for posting on our board. I too find the articles quite long but do enjoy reading them. Keep up the good work mate. Say hi to Mel Huck for me !
Yes mate. It's only a forum. It is just that quite a lot of people enjoy the articles on LFW as they give a good level of detail. I don't really get the constant sniping between the various forums. I happily post on all of them. We are all QPR after all.
Clive, since you're reading this thread (I suspect), let me take this chance to thank you for what you do. I really enjoy your blogs and think they are a cracking read. Your sense of humour often picks me up after watching yet another 'typical' QPR performance. One question; what's your general view of Fernandes? A good PR man or a genuinely committed man?
That's fair enough mate. Clive has come on here and shown himself to a decent aul skin, taking a bit of a stick yet responding with some good humour - including one about me only able to read children's books!. I'll not have a go at the length of his articles any more. It was really, like Grifter said, a bit of a running joke between myself and Nines in the end. He'd post up Clive's article each week, I'd post "Its a bit long innit?" and he'd laugh. Anything to pass the time, eh?!!!
I didn't appreciate that. Perhaps I need to spend a bit more time on here to pick up these in jokes eh! Having said that I enjoy regularly contributing to the old word association thread
