What do you do? Well, on the 20th, after you've woken up badly hung over. I would... move on MoN and his coaching staff bring in a new manager who sets his teams up in a positive way, I would hope we go down a different route like Southampton and bring in a good young manager from abroad that will bring different idea's into the club give the manager 30m to spend in the summer transfer window and players need to be moved on to create space for new signings on the wage bill
I'd agree, but I think he also needs to be speaking to football people for some advice. People who know good managers, people who know how these managers set their teams up and what style of football they play. We desperately need to get the next appointment correct.
Agree mate, part ways with MON unless he wins all the remaining 8 games with a swagger! Highly unlikely but it can easily back fire getting a manger from abroad in so I would be careful what we wish for. If we go down that route they would need to have a good knowledge of the Premier League and also the European leagues. Not sure on £30 million, with careful scouting we could improve the team for half of that amount (Sessegnon - £6 million, Mignolet - £2 million).
yep defo agree Michu - 2-3m Chicho Flores - 3-4m De Guzman - loan with view to 2m deal Cabaye - 4-6m Arouna Kone -2-3m there is players out there and we need ones of a good age who can add pace, power and creativity and also like Danny Rose has something to prove that they deserve and are good enough to be a playing regularly in this league
I wanted Marty from the get-go, my #2 choice was Solskjær -however, I may be in a fading minority on here who want to give him another season. <ducksforcoversmiley>
Think we all need a holiday after this season lol,I think oneil will walk end of the season there's just something not right with him I did hear that his wife is still having issues hope it's not true like ,I think a young foreign manager with a better understanding of continental footie for me plus more often than not they have good contacts abroad to pick up cheap players laudrapp being a good example
I reckon Franz beckenbaur would be brilliant he must have stacks of contacts, is a legend in football, and let him bring who he wants including a director, scouts etc. or paulo dacanio ! he is looking for a premier legue club, he is a character.
Shameless I'm with you on this. Danny your having a Laugh 2 million for the best goalie in the league and only 6 for Sess seriously.
I'm with you on this Shameless. Danny your having a Laugh 2 million for the best goalie in the league and only 6 for Sess seriously. Monty if Di Canio comes to the club he'll not have my support he's a nasty little fascist ****er who knows nowt about how to manage a team.
I'm with you mate, I would give him another season too. <standingproudsmiley> Anyone coming in would still have to play most of the same players. The worst thing possible would be someone coming in with a scatter gun buying willy nilly and hoping for the best. I love the way people mention the names of a few cheap players that have made any sort of impact. How come they don't mention the hundreds of others who were ****?
Di Canio is too much of a loose cannon to take a punt on. Blackburn Rovers cast off aren't worth the risk , but there are plenty of them available. Gus Poyet or Roberto di Matteo could be worth taking a chance with.
No support for Di Canio from me maybe poyet or Di mateo I think O,neils coaching staff are letting him down and maybe without Robertson the truth is telling. To take off graham and bring on mclean before whickam spell volumes for me
Erm......Southamption could still go down mate? Listen. It will be no surprise to hear me say I want MoN to have another season but I have said for a few weeks now that this current anti-MoN feeling will effect his decision and I think he will do the honourable thing and walk either way. Who we get after that is pot luck imo and we may well end up with a complete fruit cake like Di Canio and be playing 3rd divisiopn football again in 2 years time. Maybe we will approach Martinez and have a great bottom three 38 game run next campaign? My choice would be one of two. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer would be a very interesting appointment for sure and so would Roberto di Matteo, who impressed me hugely with his dignified management of joke club Chelski last year. I just hope and pray its not that iritating ****er Martinez or the barnpot Di Canio, or some other total plum, or **** knows how far we may sink in the next 2 or 3 years.
