instead of best commentator. Is it worth having a BBC v SKY for those its applicable for? Would be an interesting insight of the forums opinion of each show?
I get the feeling this may have been left out of RoadRunner's original post because BBC and Sky are not so relevant in Australia. However, I agree that some feedback on media coverage would be appropriate, especially back in the UK.
Actually when I went to copy and paste one Sportydan's older entries I accidentally left out the part about best commentator. Completely forgot about that until now. But if you'd like something like that, I can arrange that
We need to constantly remind ourselves just how poor the Crofty one is! He's a Darts commentator (poor one at that too, there's only one Sid Waddell!) moonlighting as a F1 commentator..
Best Driver: Sutil Worst Driver:Webber or Maldonado Best Rookie (Gutierrez, Bottas, Van Der Garde , Bianchi, Chilton): Bianchi Best Team:Ferrari Worst Team:Caterham Best Overtake: Funniest-moment: Most Surprising Result: Vettel not leaving everyone for dead Least Surprising Result: Alonso making a podium Special Mention to: Kimi and Lewis Race Rating: /107
It's a good idea but it's difficult to compare if you're only watching one or the other, plus people are ideologically motivated (not that that's a bad thing!).
Lucky enough to have Sky, I watch their coverage when BBC don't show it live and the Highlights on BBC later on in the day. Happy to critique both commentary teams, be warned though, "The Crofty One" is unlikely to get a rating better than "Diabolical!"
