No this game is a game for the reserves now

No Ben Arfa, Cabaye, Krul, Colo, Debuchy and now Haidara and in all honesty we could well get relegated .

already are and the league is aa strong possibilty now.

I can't express how serious our situation is with the injuries we have.

We will lose at City for sure and Fulham and Sunderland also if we don't get Cabaye and Debuchy back I suspect.

Still, on the positive side, we won't need to worry about relegation if those Androminans (spelling?) invade Earth before May, eh!

Like I said way back we could well go down and the way things are infolding you can' deny it's a very high possibilty. If we do we can always point to certain decisions etc, however the fact remains we acted too late, failed to build on the miracle of last season and Pardew has made porr calls all season. I prey we stay up but with the players we have out I can't see another 3 points.

Could we sign one of them up and get them playing in a midfield-striker link role?

And why would Obertan's relatives invade Earth?

I think Pards thought Sissoko was an Androminan based on what he'd seen on You Tube.

After yesterday I might just give up my involvement in football. It was a real sickener in more ways than one.

The refs either a cheat, a blind bastard, a useless ****ing **** that doesn't know the rules, or all three.

I think I'll go for all three.

What's even sicker - He gets a 3 match ban and the continue with his career. Haidara may never play again. Martinez can sod off defending him. Based on how high his foot was and lack of remorse...he meant it.

Calm down lads. It was a bad day at the office.

The tackle on Haidara was awful and the failure to spot it very surprising.

We are lacking 1 point that we deserved and also a back up LB for the rest of the season. Cab's and Debuchy can rest up on Tyneside rather than gettign knacked on international duty. Krul as well.

Nothing much has really changed from the situation as it existed on Satruday, when life was rosy.

probs 3 we would have likely won against 10

what makes you think these players will be ready for any of our remaining games? so far this season we haven't had our best side on the pitch and we wont I'm sure of it.

Its a squad game and i still think we more than have what it takes to stay up. Yesterday was terrible but we are not going to be playing 11 men plus the ref ever week.

If it was still December and we had taken these injuries we would be down to the bare bones but since January we have a little bit more available. Simpson can come back in at right back and Santon at left and we still have cover in Anita and Perch.

Midfield is lacking a little creativity but we should still grind out results against QPR and West Ham, i also expect we will get something from Sunderland and maybe a point off Fulham at home. We only need 7 points so lets turn that frown upside down and stop crying into our pints (not literally as i am at work).

Also its worth noting we dont play West Ham or QPR for at least 6 weeks with any luck only Haidara will still be out by then and with our full strength squad we might even get something from Arsenal at home who could easily have nothing to play for by the last game of the season.

Krul was expected to be out for 3 or 4 weeks about w or 4 weeks ago. Debuchy is in fact travelling to France to be assessed, which indicates that his injury must be on the minor side. Cabaye has said his injury is relatively minor.

They may not be back for the Man City game, which is fine that fixture has zero points written on it anyway. They have a good chance of making the Benfica match and should be back for the next outings. We obvioulsy won't have our best team on theepitch this season, as HBA's out, but even with our current injuries we have more than a strong enough squad to pick up points.

    Elliot

    Simpson - Saylor - Mbiwa - Santon

    Anita - Perch

    Marveaux - Sissoko - Goufran

    Cisse

That team will turn over most opposition. It will get stronger in the next couple of weeks
