I've got it figured out Pablo is short sighted!! He is able to see about 5 yards but no more! I can't believe that an international footballer could mispass as often as he does. Not just against Arsenal - against the Baggies 95% went astray. I know he needs time to play but how much time? When will we give Lamah a try out - we have no idea what he can do and yet we play Pablo! ML has got to cut his losses and drop Pablo as all the work the rest of the team do is wasted.
There were some excellent times and moves against Arsenal - the first half the commentators were gushing about how we held onto the ball how we would take it backwards if we needed to and then pushed forward but only for Pablo to pass it away. I'm not a big fan of JDG buthe played well today as did Ki - Leon gave the ball away a couple of times but made a huge difference. So just send your donations to me via Paypal and I'll do the rest!

How much do ya reckon we need - are there lenses thick enough.

At this point we'd be better off if he just picked the ball up and handed it to the nearest player on the other team. At least we'd get a stoppage in play and a chance to regroup and organize.

Agree with you on Lamah - really let's see what the guy can do in a three winger format or with Routs on the other wing.

Said so many a time , he can sometimes pick out a ball which is sublime , but a simple pass seems to be beyond him at the moment ,he must be getting fed up with Ash giving a bollocking every game .He did have a better 2nd half yesterday but thats probably because he didn't 'see" much of he ball

he was the best thing since sliced bread not long ago..<laugh> the fact is we have not been playing well for sometime now and its not down to "he is **** or they are crap" Its all down to the manager, He is the one who picks the team and he is the one who tells the players how to pay the game. Its so easy to select individuals to put the blame on but it was the manager who selected that player in the first place, so you are indirectly saying the manager was wrong in his team selection....I say right selection but wrong tactics and that is the managers fault at the end of the day...

Pablo bashing is all well and good but to me he was no worse than quite a few other players yesterday. Pablo tries the hard stuff and tries to make game changing passes, im suprised nobody has picked out Nathan Dyer for special treatment today, i thought he run round like a headless chicken and his touch and passing was just as bad as Pablo's . Leon wasnt great either and Michu was again very poor.

We have been getting worse these last few weeks, i dont see a major problem with it apart from the fact it would be a shame to undo all the good work of this season. We also need to remember it was a good Arsenal team we played who wanted the 3pts a bit more than we did.

It was the first game ive seen against one of the big clubs where the players wernt 100% bang up for it, we seemed a bit too comfortable yesterday and we have done since the Liverpool game away, its a new experience for us and the club ..that of being safe with nothing to play for after 75% of the season .

If i was Laudrup i would make some changes, Pablo looks jaded,so does Michu, a first long and hard season for them, time to give lamar a start along with Bartley, i know Monk had a decent game ie, no major errors but its really simple, when monk plays we tend to ship goals.

Give Bartley a go and see how he does, if he isnt any improvement on Monk then we need to get rid of him in the summer, the fact Monk is ahead of him at the moment is sounding the alarm bells for me ut if he cant get ahead of gary then there is no reason for him being here.

Agree with Norway regarding Hernandez, he wasn't very good but shouldn't be singled out....I think both he and Michu are getting special treatment from the opposition. Hopefully we'll have a couple more players who carry an equal threat.

    Also agree regarding Dyer.
For me he wants too long on the ball and then when tackled stands around waving his arms in the air like a fanny.
Their 1st goal yesterday was his fault in my opinion. The ball gets played up to him and we break trying to counter....Routledge is screeching up the left channel (fresh off the bench) and all Dyer has to do is turn it round the corner in front of Routledge, one touch....what does he do? Stand on it again, wanting more time than he's got and gets (fairly IMO) tackled.
Yes the defending wasn't great from there but we shouldn't have been in that position, he'd been pissing me off for most of the game for doing similar and I could have exploded when they scored from him dilly dallying on the ball again.

Arsenal are one of the 5 best teams in the division and just beat Bayern Munich away having rested some players to face us...let's not forget.

I put our recent dip in form down to Chico's absence and the rest of the division wising up to Michu and Hernandez's penchant for seeking him out at every opportunity.
If Laudrup can add a quality striker and maybe replace Dyer with better we will be less predictable next season.

Oh God Dai, what have you been up to on the QPR board ?

I hope you haven't been on the wum, just remember please that when news broke on Ash there were a absolute sh1tload of QPR fans on here wishing him well.

As for Pablo, really frustrating player, brilliant for 5 mins then pants for the next 5. I still can't work him out.

Intresting that you mention Dyer and his arm waving, thats mostly all ive seen him do this season!! not like Nathan at all i have to say. I remember when getting the ball taken away from him really mattered and he wouldnt rest until he has tried to win it back..those days seem to have dissapeared for some reason.

Its difficult to be too harsh though,it was a good Arsenal side and i can accept coming up short against the likes of them...some of the players seem to be of a similar mindset since safety was secured.

I think Laudrup is going to learn alot about his players from now until the end of the season, what will motivate them to put in 100% against the big teams ? what will motivate them to battle against the likes of Norwich and Wigan ?? if we are not careful then we could end up with a massive end of season slump that might carry on over into the europa league next summer, its important we get the hunger back in our team, there are some boys dreaming of their Holidays but the season aint over yet and its time for the them to motivate and inspire the fans for a change not the other way around !

I dont buy into the laudrup is god bullshit like i dont with any manager, they are human and make mistakes and as it is his first season then he has an excuse as he is learning the way clubs play in the premiership. I will praise him when he does good and take no notice if he cocks up but next season i want to see him tactically get things better than he has been recently. Its easy to blame the players but these same players have nearly all been MOM at some point and they can only play the way laudrup wants them to play so laudrup has to take the responsibility for the whole team..Nobody is saying we should not lose but the manor we are losing in recent games is down to his tactics....I hope he has taken on board that we are not a long ball team. there are too many stray passing and very little triangle passing that we are better than arsenal can do......He is not the best manager in the premiership by a long chalk but he has potential if he stops changing the way we play that has got us to where we are....If we play like we have been playing for a while now it wont be how long he will be with us as when is he going to go.... He has to take responsible and the fans need to stop praising players one week and slagging them off the next...the manager picked them so its down to him ...

If the players do not perform to the standards the manager sets then they deserve to be slammed. There is only so much a manager can do, he can set the game plan and tactics as much as he wants, but if the players fail to execute said game plans and tactics then there isn't much the manager can do. Some of the players have been well below par since the cup final, it seems that since we hit the magical 40 points, some are coasting their way to the end of the season.

Dai do me a favour please. Stop wumming on the QPR board or else they'll all be over here and I'll end up getting the bloody blame again. They were all really good with Ash too so perhaps we can all cut a bit of slack.

Why not post like you have been recently on here, your posts are actually really good when you put your sensible head on, just like the one above.

So you dont rate him as one of the best managers in the Prem League but the other Prem managers do ??

    Hmm... <laugh>

You can only piss with the cock that you got Dai and thats why the Swans results will always fluctuate in this league, we are not world beaters and probably never will be, the players we have are not the absolute top level but a squad of honest pro's that try their best . Sometime they will not be at 100% and sometimes they will, we moan when they have a poor game and thats our right as supporters but overall there isnt really much any Swans can complain about, it doesnt get any better than this really and watching some of the things Pablo,Routledge, michu etc,etc can do with the ball week in week out makes us forget where we have come from.

The Manager can only do so much, we operate within a budget and rely on bargin signings or lower end players, we cant afford top standard but we can get lucky from time to time with a cheap signing that proves to be a bit special like Michu.
All things considered to even have a slight dig at our manager is a bit daft, i beleive we have done extremely well this season and have won our first ever cup, whatever happens from now until the end of the season Laudrup should be afforded the maximum amount of respect for acheiving what nobody else ever did, including your bum chum Brenden Rodgers.

The players performances will go up and down as the season goes along, as Laudrup says that is normal for any team, its when we have 3/4 going off their game at the same time it becomes hard for us, like it is now . I was upset about the performance at WBA more than the Arsenal game but overall we have to understand that motivation for the players is going to be difficult in the next 10 games.

Laudrup may even be of the opinion that he doesnt want to give too many tactical things away in games that dont really matter,so maybe there are things he will change but doesnt want to give that knowledge out until next season when every point will once again become critical. It would not suprise me if Laudrup has decided to keep some things back, it would make perfect sense really, especially as he is already planning for next season <ok>

So by that astounding logic if Fergie was Swans manager with those same players we would be looking at champions league football ...<laugh>

Losing the games like we are doing ??

WBA = poor performance and a dodgy dis-allowed goal.
Arsenal = team coming off the back of an Historic win against Bayern Munich and really needing 3pts , over £25/30m quids worth of talant on the bench.

Im all for being objective but have some kind of logic to base your argument on, Laudrup has been voted by his peers as the best, that is a fact you cant dispute, if fergie or any other manager had the same players as us they would IMO struggle to get much more out of them <ok>

No Dai that's the point I haven't been on other boards wumming but somehow I always get the blame and it doesn't help when some Swans fans (no not you I know) go around lying through their teeth and saying that I have. In fact I don't think I've ever posted on the QPR board. It was Dragon on there recently winding them up and I know he got a ban for it too but lo behold some twat said I'd been on there too.

Just for the record I occasionally visit friendly boards like Norwich, Newcastle and Chelsea and sometimes the neighbours too but I don't go and wum on any other boards
