It was only a couple of months ago we managed to lose at home to Reading and looked in a bad state. I don't recall many of their fans coming onto our boards to poke fun - yes they did on their own board but thats fine.

At the moment it would be like shooting fish in a barrell and i think the next few weeks are going to be tough for them, they haven't got any 'easy' games until May really.

I'm not confident about this afternoon, think Wigan will turn us over but i suspect Sunderland fans may be supporting us too...

I agree Thai and i think most Sunderland fans would do too. They certainly didn't do anywhere near enough to deserve to win the game and that's why their fans are hurting. I saw nothing today to suggest they are going to get any points in the next 3-4 games (being hopeful regarding the derby there of course!)

Agreed, they were awful today, as they have been for some time (mostly). Definite squeaky bum time for the Cats but like us they will be wondering why they have not been playing well in recent months. That was our best away showing since our away win at Swansea (only away win this season) and our home games have been dreadful too but we have been collecting points here and there thankfully.

If Mark Hasley does the game he may as wear a red and white shirt. Worst refereeing performance I've ever seen

Nah the Mackems can beggar off. They're happy to shout and sing all the time they're ahead, if some of our fans fancying dishing it out, then they can't complain.

Fair play to you chaps on this thread. Cracking sense of solidarity.

However... A **** load on our board have set themselves up for humiliation with all of the 'top dog' **** and 'mind the gap' mock away lads.

Fingers crossed we both sort ourselves out. Wigan continue their history of escapes and villa go down with saggy face.

Halsey gifting Wigan a win has dumped us all back in it <wah>

There's actually something riding on the derby day for once... Shame it's relegation!

<laugh> We were inundated with visitors regarding the "North East Top Dog", "Mind the Gap", "Bubble has burst", "It was all luck last season" "You're going down" visitors. They've gone strangely quiet again now, not sure why......................

As it is I can't even be bothered to work them up, its too easy and not challenging. Anyway I had a gander over the other day and Cest was doing enough infighting and abusing his own to render any of our efforts pointless. I could see another taking his ball home moment on the horizon <laugh>

Tbf, we do seem to have exceeded the quota for numpties from the asylum on 'our' board.
