You deserve to. Play great attacking football. Were trying to do the same as you done last year in feb we were 12th and now were 5th! Good Luck & Hope you stay up!
You see the thing is, 3 points still might not be enough and that's the max Blackpool are going to get now. Blackpool desperately need Wolves to lose as well as pick up 3 points themselves, as Wolves have a game on match day 38 that has points on offer, Blackpool simply don't. Blackpool will certainly be beaten by Man Utd, 100% sure of that. Forget the fact that Man Utd have nothing to play for potentially if they don't wrap up the league title this weekend, the fact is Man Utd are on a 15 game home league wins in a row, which has just matched the record set by Newcastle back in the 90's I believe. That record is definitely up for grabs for Man Utd now, so there's no chance Blackpool are leaving Old Trafford with anything. Man Utd are in champions form, and wouldn't want anything to rock the apple cart prior to their big ECL Final on 28 May, so I'm afraid it's going to be shooting practise and in my opinion a very miserable day for Blackpool fans and thankfully Holloway will not get his chance to sing and dance like an idiot again, with his stupid battle cries and his "ooooh we're pathetic, we should only have 10 points, look at us, we're little with no money", inevitably that got boring and he's been found out.
Terry you seem like enough of a prat to know nothing is 100% in football. Best of luck Blackpool, there's nothing like a good underdog story!
Why is nothing 100%? Am I not allowed to believe that my team will beat Blackpool? I believe that Man Utd, no matter which side we decide to play will beat Blackpool, even if the outcome of the match is irrelevant to the league as far as Man Utd are concerned. Man Utd are bread to be winners, the players don't want a poor result against a side managed by a muppet, heading into a Champions League final. Fergie also has to be respectful of Mick McCarthy and Roberto Martinez, and set his side up to win the match exactly like he did when playing Wolves and Wigan at Old Trafford. Rooney, Giggs, Rio, Evra, Hernandez might not be playing but Blackpool will still be facing a side more than capable of taking them apart with ease. I am 100% certain that if Wolves beat Sunderland on Saturday, Blackpool will be playing Championship football next season regardless of how many points they take vs Bolton. 100%
Also CAFC Room - You're directly implying that you have to be a prat to appreciate that nothing is 100% in football, so I'm the "Prat"....hmmmm well done.
Sure I am, it was a bit of a nonsensical remark. Course you're allowed to believe your side will win but your first post sounded out right arrogant especially with the snide remarks at the end. But as you say Ferguson has to be respectful of McCarthy, Martinez and Holloway, the fans not so much. I woke up without any fight in me today
Ollie is a legend....hope you stay up, to play the way you have has been a blessing and shows you dont have to park the bus
Good luck for Sunday. Hope you stay up. There are obvious parallels with the Tigers first season in the Prem; written off almost from the final whistle of the play off final, forcing the MOTD panel to admit that a team outside of the top four is doing well, etc, but, mainly, I've had Wolves, Wigan and West Ham for relegation since early on in the season and I'd quite like to be right for once. Though I'd be more than happy for Brum to take Wolves' place.
I would like to echo the comments already made. You've been a breath of fresh air with your attacking football. Yes, your defence hasn't been too good but your attacking play has made up for it. Good luck against United. I hope you stuff them!
