I honestly don't know how you can even think that, seriously! We had two cleared off the line and Gedo had a great chance in the first half to put us one up, and then another at the death which could easily have salvaged a point, if all of those chances had gone in we'd have won 5-2, I realise that they never but FFS get real fella, we played well, we were the better side, we didn't get the rub of the green, so we lost, put the razor blades away we're still second with 8 games to go. Edit:- Having now read the full thread I see that you are aged 11, and for that reason you are excused your original post..........just don't do it again
very good points, but the OP is a very young guy, gotta lay off him, we are all in this together! UTT!
Same old ****e from the knee jerkers. They were lucky to come away with anything. We should've scored more goals, but we lacked the goal scorers touch. Something we've lacked all season.
That's a valid point but IMO we're nothing like the profligate bunch we were pre-Gedo and Boyd. We missed chances today but it was out of our hands, the two Gedo ones came at him very quickly and awkwardly (the 2nd one was a proper annoying height to volley it from) and it was the woodwork and line clearances that cost us. Earlier in the season (and last season) it was great crosses going flying across the goal with no bugger bothering to get there or simple chances being wasted due to striking ineptitude. I think with the aforementioned front two we're in the best shape we have been since we got relegated and I'm still very confident we'll go up.
His under 12 team got beat this morning 4-1 as well and he was benched for being late so didn't get on until they went 2-1 down (he is a cb and came out with Chester as a mascot against Peterborough) so he is in a double nay treble p1ss today also
Defence was okay, but looked weak in the air. Attack was much improved but the chances (bar one!) were difficult; another day, another story. Midfield was disappointing, too easily bossed. Forest were worth their points, they played the right game against us (sussed us!), but only just. Nowt to be ashamed of, it was a decent game of football and on another day we might of shown a return. Boyd made a difficult goal look easy. Still well in the running, but true to the midweek comments, it really is the next game that is the biggest and will be until the maths says different. If I can get as good a game today at the SOL I will be well happy. Hoping for a CP banana skin, but not likely.
How the hell do you have 21 shots, 12 on target, yet still lose? Deeply irritating. Though not quite as irritating as the Forest fans in the corporate seats, I think they must have got the tickets free when they appeared on The Jeremy Kyle show. Pikey chav bastards.
I don't know why you are defending your lad, Roaring Tiger. He was obviously disappointed with the game and he voiced it fairly and clearly. If he had of been drawn in discussion it would have been better, but he got abuse which is par for the course. I would suggest he switch off swearing, take a new anonymous name and get back to having a honest opinion - the number of chances we missed made us look like a team lower than 2nd, he was spot on with that!
'Frustrating as ****' would be my carefully considered summary. Those chances at the end, unreal how they didn't go in. To be fair to Forest, I thought they were first to most balls, and retained possession well. It was a tough match. I'm more gutted at the fact that we're off for almost a fortnight now. It's those two words that chill the blood more than anything else for a football supporter... "International Break". Ugh.
