Spot on. Today was like Brighton away. Forest were a decent side, far better than the one we played at their place earlier this season but I think they had 3 proper chances all game and scored 2 of them. I don't understand where their winner came from, it was a really simple ball that dropped in the area and suddenly their lad was just open to shoot at an almost empty goal.

Boyd's goal was a bit of genius and we played really well on the whole. How we didn't score in that 2nd half I'll never know. It wasn't even bad finishing really it just kept getting blocked. Brady's free kick hit the bar and Simpson smashed it at goal, god knows how they kept that out. Then a bit later the one that was cleared right on the line, if that was at Elland Road or somewhere it would have been a goal. I'm not saying it was definitely in but it was very close and there just wasn't a reaction. The linesman was under no pressure to give it, we should have been screaming at him to give it throughout the ground. We're too polite like that.

It was gutting to lose it at the end when they didn't even seem to want the win. They just kept making piss-take fouls every time we were on a break and while the ref booked them for most of them, it really cost them nothing to do it. The Cohen one on Elmo was ridiculous. They should start giving reds for fouls like that one, it's just a joke how easily the rules are manipulated by cheaters like him. We were the better side and had the better chances, but I can't really blame anyone for us not winning. We didn't do much wrong and it was just one of those days.

Today was massive but with the results that have happened it's a right anti-climax. The next two games are going to be even bigger now.

Our midfield was ****e today, as was Stockdale. I'm afraid he's not the answer in the long term. To get megged like that for their second goal was piss poor.

Overall Forest deserved the points, they were very effective, bossed the middle of the park, won all the aerial battles and picked up all the second balls. Best team I've seen at the KC this season.

Lets hope Palace fluff their lines tomorrow.

This win one lose one run hides a loss of form, Palace out played us, we were poor at Burnley and second best today. Sort it out Mr Bruce...

Good summing up jobbo. Bossed the midfield completely.

We've been too polite for the entire season! Are we top of the fair play league?....time to get dirty/nasty...Forest were today and they got all 3 points. We won't get any help from the refs.

They had a lot of possession but how many chances did they have? very few yet scored two, thats how it goes sometimes, its disappointing but overall with the chances alone we should have won it never mind draw. Overall we didn't do a lot wrong except let two goals in but on another day we would have scored five or six goals. We need to get some consistency back in the final 8 games and the crowd have to get behind the team for the full game not just the first half

we where miles better today then at Burnley, yet came out 3 points worse off..
its a funny old game as they say....thought we where a bit outmuscled at times, too many players falling to the floor every 2 minutes instead of pushing the bigger boys back..
still should have had 4 or 5 if it wasnt for some woeful finishing and the crossbar...nothing to panic about just yet

Pains me to say it but fair play to Forest. City shaded the first half and well deserved the 1-0 lead. 2nd half they came at us from the off. Some of heir hacking left a lot to be desired but with a soft ref they got away with it. They've had their run now, back to losing ways. As for City the trip to H/field then at home to Watford will go a long way to determining if its top 2 or playoffs.

They played out of their skins today, 5 booked, several cleared off the line etc.

The only thing they were better at was effort and commitment. If we'd have matched theirs, we'd have won a canter.

Bossed the midfield but had less possession and far less chances than us?

People over-reacting because we lost is embarrassing. We outplayed them and we were unlucky. It happens. Even the fact we missed chances yet again doesn't really worry me because it was down to their good defending/goalkeeping rather than us messing the chances up.

We had 24 shots to Brightons 6 did everything but win, it was the best we played over the last 6 games.

The luck was with us yesterday but with Palace losing today things have also turned in your favour.

The way we play these days we have to grind out every game but at least you got a style that can make a few games easier for you.

Forget about results for a minute, we are both in auto spots with 8 games to play.

We have a game in hand but that is not 3 points in hand so not worth taking into account.

Its not done yet but we are the two at the top.
