It still doesn't add to your argument.

Its still perfectly understandable to think Laudrup and Clarke would have done a better job, whether they would or not is a different thing altogether.

Your just dismissing that they wouldn't for reasons I don't know.

My own argument would have been that Swansea are much closer in style to what we are. That's a reason.

Not because you are jealous of what they have achieved.

So everyone thought Steve Clarke would do as well as he has for WBA at the start of this season? Really? There were understandable doubts with him because of his lack of experience. He's done well and fair play.

Swansea are doing what they are doing. Let them get on with it I say. Some fans are constantly comparing and contrastig and looking over the hedge to have a look. Screw that. All that matters is Norwich.

Well I think its good to look outside for ideas.

Perhaps that's why your so happy with the performances, its our team so it must be correct.

No it's about what happens at our club is all that matters. Swansea buy Michu? Newcastle get Cisse? What has that got to do with us? Why should we bellyache about it? We should go our own way.

I am not as happy with our performances as you would make out. Standard attempt to alienate me from the rest of the group. There are problems with the team and the way we play. We do need to get forward more, we do need to pass better and we do need to keep posession a lot better but these are not tasks that can't be met with our players and through our current management.

IHWT simples yes would love the play to be more entertaining but realise at this level it just not a case of doing the Lambo Style he knew it would be very difficult to repeat that first season and bottled it running to Villa.
I think CH will sort it give him time he is quiet and methodical and will work it out can't wait for Tettey to be back think we are missing him a bit even though he was a bit under par before his injury
we have many years of bouncing around the middle of this table if we are fortunate to survive so avoidance of Canary Call and the Pink Un are very much advised!

So why on earth do you find it so hard to take on the concept that the choice of manager was not correct. You are stating that they can't improve things.

By the way the alienation is your forte, I recall some very selective comments from yourself coming my way when the groundswell of opinion was firmly in your favour.

These are not tasks that CAN'T be solved with our players and management cant solve

ergo, our management and players will solve these problems.

Reading are about to prove why changing your manager isn't a good thing.

So your saying that Lambert "bottled it", by running from you lot, albeit with potential "second season syndrome" (whatever that is...) to Villa, a club that finished below you lot last season..

    Doesn't make sense...

"Worthy out" "Delia out" It's the same people again and again and again.

The power of fear is infectious, and some people take being negative as a kind of sport.

I'm probably just adding fuel to the fire here, but carrabuh your posts are the ones that need backing up, not beef's. he is backing his posts up, not you.

Lambert bottled it because he thought he could achieve more at Villa as they are a "bigger club" and he'd be given backing he wouldn't recieve here. Regardless of their league position Villa are still labelled a big club.

He's ambitious, but he knew it would take a lot more effort to go again this year, so he ran.

It's been a slog, but we should be okay. What happens next is what really matters.

Honestly holding my hands up here and saying I don't want a fight or anything. We've both made points, theres no hate over my side.

Lets not have a 20 page thread. Lets just get 3 points tomorrow and nail the end of the season.

Presumably that fire you hadn't any intention of creating in the first place.

Probably why children shouldn't play with matches.

Rehash of previous thread. Hurrah. Just what was needed.

You could just help it go that way then!

I was just defending beef who was being blamed for not backing his posts up.

The point is Carla, there has been a massive Barney on here because some people can't accept that despite their points of view regarding team line ups, performances and scorelines one persons "crap and boring" 0-0 draw doesn't mean they love the club any less than the person who thought it was a well earned point.
Dave tried to pour oil on troubled waters by asking for an end to repetitive posting but straightaway you posted about moaners. Just leave each and everyone to their own narrative and adjectives. If we turn out another dire performance tomorrow I will have to put my 40 year old son in a straight jacket. But he is such a fervent supporter, and believe mne he is as passionate about NCFC as anybody.

I actually wanted us to get Michael Laudrup at the time and mentioned it on here, he's done well at all the clubs he has been at bar Spartak Moscow.

Agree, first thing I thought when this thread was opened was it was going to provoke some sort of argument again.

Yet another crap thread like this gives me more reason to spend less time on here post less frequently from now on.

Yes I know 'Carla' before you say anything, "I could always just ignore this thread blah, blah, blah..." but it's not as simple as that as because these kind of posts don't add anything at all and just tend to wind people up, as it clearly has seemed to have done. Again.

By posting I'm clearly contradicting myself here, but I really can't be arsed with all this anymore.
