same errors crept back in.Sloppy passing, defending and dodgy keeping!. That is that then. Back to Mackie,Derry and friggin Hulse for next season. And those who think next season will be easy, just look at Wolves near bottom of NCP
I'm ****ing devastated. Col, I believe red wine is good for cardiac conditions....I'm off to drink a bucket full. I suppose its chararcter-building.......no wonder we have so many characters on here then. Keep the faith.
So sad. So needless. And in such games you simply have to have a superb goalkeeper as Vanilla had today. Caesar was ****.
Where do we all go for the grief counselling Cerny? From that other, now closed thread, regarding the 53 year old lady crossing your path (my wife's age), I wonder if there is one for sympathy on the cards tonight for this totally stressed out, totally disappointed, almost 60 yr old codger!
Thats the worst bit....the last two games gave me hope again, when I had already believed we would be relegated. This game feels a bit like I got hit by a car 3 months ago.....eveyone said I would die and in the last two weeks I pulled through, taking my steps into the would again I get hit by a car a second time and now im finally dead!
Absolutely devastated. Commentary said Villa the worst second half team in entire PL! Deserved a point, at the very least.
All of this makes me resent Mark Hughes' efforts as a manager for us even more. I can't say I resent the man but I resent what he did for us. And, to be honest, the totally inept board for allowing this to happen. Total mismanagement of a club from top to bottom. The only defence they have was that it was all out of naïvity.
Such a defining moment today - looking at that damned table, with a win and 26 pts we would have had Villa and a few other teams in our sights to take-over our relegation spot - we seem/are totally doomed now - I still hope we at least go down showing some fight, rather than just rolling over.
Although we shouldn't have lost, we didn't really look like the team who played last week. Townsend and Hoillet were fantastic V sunderland, but pretty quiet today. The wingers just never had a chance to run at Villa. I don't really understand what happened... Other than his goal, did Jenas do a lot? I can't really remember the rest of his performance. Maybe we should have started with an identical side to Sunderland bar the enforced goalie change. Unbelievable though really...only QPR could buy one of the best keepers world and end up having him lose us a 6 pointer. If green had started i'm convinced it would have been a draw.
Agree their keeper won the game for them. I think others got to share the blame for their goals, Samba and Bos for the first, Park and others for the 2nd, many for the 3rd including Harry for taking Fabio off (if he weren't injured), and moving Bos to LB.
100% agreed, well said. About time someone mentioned the responsibilities and failings of the board. Beard and Fernandez should never have let things get so out of hand. Fernandez has form in similar debacles: Caterham. Very, very pissed off with those two. More so even than with Hughes.
Win our next 4 home games and it still wont be good enough. Not expecting much next season in the championship and just hope we can be competitive and start building again but i do fear our financial position could have its toil on our club. One person to blame in my opinion Mark Hughes.
Normally, I would be watching this came as a neutral - really don't care to now. I'm done. Quite honestly, I'm more looking forward to see what Ryan Nelsen's TFC can do in their later game at Montreal Impact.
