I think it's hilarious that had it not been for Holt scoring agsinst Everton (you know, the useless, fat waste of space that we should sell) people where waiting to moan. They couldn't wait to moan. They were gutted that they weren't allowed to moan. Had that penalty gone in against Southampton, well, I'm not sure if people can get internal ionjury through wanting to moan but not being allowed to but it would have happened haha. I want a victory so bad just to shut up the moronic "Hughton Out" brigade. They have lost touch with this club and what it's about.

I am certainly not trying to stir things up. You and redruth are just throwing it that way by suggesting it is.

When we played poorly and got a result under lambert people said it was the mark of a good team. Under Hughton it shows his negative attitude.

I think the main point is, some people don't like Chris Hughton. Whether its "Boo-Hoo I want Lambert back"itis or some other prejudice against him I don't know but what I find exceptionally hilarious is the list of people these "Hughton out"ers come up with who should be managing us.

I present to you, the "I never wanted Hughton in the first place" (but of course kept it quiet) Shortlist

    Ian Holloway - Clown

Paulo DiCanio - Clown with ADD

Roberto DiMatteo - I LOVE it when people say we should have got Di Matteo. He has just won the CHAMPIONS LEAGUE. Call me on "Lack of ambition" but why would he not hold out for a bigger job?

Brian Laudrup - Heard several people say "we should have got him instead of swansea". Absolutely hilariously moronic statement.

A.N.Other Diego francois Gruber DiForlan - Basically, in line with the "lets go and get a michu/cisse from europe" people you have the "lets go get a random manager in Europe"

Ian Culverhouse - Never managed a team. Ever. Did great as an assistant but has literally no experience whatsoever in first team management.

Glen Roeder - ...nah just kidding

Just out of curiosity, Beefy, was Hughton your immediate first choice for manager after Lambert left?

Yeah he was the immediate choice and the best fit for our club.

    <ok>

So do you think that for the benefit of NCFC, Lambert leaving when he did, (and Hughton coming in), was a good thing?

Or would you rather that Lambert had stayed, I only ask because I've picked up on this board that a few of you lot seem to think that Lambert's style of play, (attractive though it was), wouldn't have been able to overcome "second season syndrome"...

Impossible to say if PL would have done as well, better or worse but we would almost certainly have been more positive in the approach <ok>

Lambert would have been found out eventually. There were signs of it at the back end of last season. A lot of his play is based on the element of surprise and I think teams where starting to watch our DVD's and find ways around us.

Lambert did great things for us and I respect what he did a lot of course. However, he left us. He had the choice and he did so thats it. When he comes to carrow road I want zero respect for him in those 90minutes. We should chant chris hughtons name and give him all the stick in the world if we score/he gives any stick to us.

Waaay ahead of ya lol! Heard there was a classic one a few weeks back after we lost at man united some bloke saying because we lost ewas getting rid of his season ticket. Good! Plenty of people out there that would love that ticket.

It wouldn't be such a bad rant but with the exception of Laudrup I've never heard anyone bang on about those other managers.

Not for the first time your barking up the wrong tree Beef.

I've definitely heard fans say about Laudrup. The same fans that seem to think they are the greatest team of the planet and we should copy everything they do because they are so awesome. All hail swansea etc etc zzzz. Heard a few talk about Steve Clark as well, completely ignoring that most people though WBA would fail completely this season because they got Clarke with no experience. Good luck to them.

I don't see the point in your argument.

Surely the Swansea modal has proven to be an exceptional path to copy.

We have gone backwards, they have gone forwards. Its a bit like saying having 1,000 pounds in the bank is better than 2,000.

Saying Swansea zzzz as a disparaging comment just shows your naivety as what you deem a valid contribution.

The lesser managers you mentioned, nobody says we should have these.

Of the managers you mention, the good ones people are understandably keen to of had them brought in , the others nobody mentioned.

You are trying to be sarcastic with your own made up names.

I'm pefectly aware you are in the "lets get a random from Europe" camp Carrabuh. thats fine. You don't actually have a human being though. A physical person.

The "lets be just like the sainted swansea" lot are just as bad as the "why don't we get England to play like spain" lot. We have not gone backwards at all, we just haven't skyrocketed forwards, very few teams do. We are building thats what you have to do as a club. There was no way we could have matched our sucesses of the last few years, that has shocked some people.

Everyone team is different and thank god it is.

**** Swansea, there, I said it.

Swansea have every reason to be proud of what they have achieved, Beefy, and so do Southampton judging by what I'm watching at the moment.

This is why I don't rate your posts Beef, you just say stuff with no reason to back it up.

That comment above really does just sum you up I'm afraid.

If you don't think we've gone backwards after the poor displays, dull football and worse points haul then you are very much in the minority.

If you can't see that these two teams are doing things which we are not, then hit me with your pink handbag.

Is the season over yet? No

Is it fair to judge season by season? Especially when this season has not even completed? No

Do clubs go through good and bad seasons? Yes

Do teams go through good, bad and indifferent runs of form? Yes

Do some fans massively over-react at Bad and indifferent form? YES

Do they hope for failure so they can be "proved right? ?????????
