Harry Redknapp has confirmed that Adel Taarabt is fit and available for selection for tomorrowâs Premier League clash at Aston Villa Redknapp: âWeâve got a fairly clean bill of health otherwise.â Also confirmed that Julio Cesar and Armand Traore should be available Redknapp says that the squad have been in âgood spiritsâ this week following victory over Sunderland last Saturday Redknapp feels that back-to-back wins have vindicated the decision to take the team on a mid-season break to Dubai Redknapp on Villa: âItâs a big game â a massive one for both teams Redknapp: 'Itâs (Villa) not make or break but itâs massive to how the table will look on Sunday morning. We need a resultâ Redknapp: âWe were given no hope and the pressure isnât on us so muchâ Redknapp: âAll along, Iâve said we can survive. These two wins (Southampton and Sunderland) have given us confidence Redknapp: 'Weâre in good form â just two defeats in the last nine games Manager admits #QPR have kinder upcoming fixtures than rivals but says that doesn't necessarily make it easier. Redknapp: 'You never know Redknapp praises squad work ethic, including those â like Jay Bothroyd and Junior Hoilett â who've come in of late. âItâs a team gameâ Redknapp says that everyone at #QPR delighted for Loic Remy, who was called up for France this week.
Yep, that pretty much summed it up word for word, but to be honest I nodded off half way through when they tried bringing up Dubaigate for the 1m time. Pressers really are like watching paint dry.
Good work again Pirata. Thought Arry looked and sounded a bit 'grumpy' today as if he just had an argument, or just told Adel he was not in the team. He even made a comment about the team ethic: And then said you can't 'sulk' if you are not in team.
Agree Skys 'Gary' seemed only interested in that Dubai story and kept bringing it up. Well done Arry for shutting him up and not dwelling.
I hope that we go out and attack Villa, in the same way that we went full tilt at Sunderland. My worry with all this talk of "needing a result" that we might be looking to park the bus in front of the goal again. I can understand that approach against teams like Chelsea, but against Villa we should have more confidence and look be more adventurous IMHO.
Yes Cheers, mate ............... the best form of defence is attack ................ so lets' beat the living shizanhouszen out of them.
Indeed. Its obvious what's going on with Taarabt. We've had it all before. If he wants to get back in the team he has to earn it and not act like a child.
As a few have said already Pirata, thanks for putting the press conference up every week...Most appreciated by me and it seems a good few others on here.
Cheers Pirate, Think Harry has made his decisions on a few players (incl AT) and is justifying them by his results. Gonna be intresting team selection today...(Its Sat already)
Harry's team selections are rarely predictable. I wouldn't be surprised to see Taarabt starting tomorrow.
Cheers LP. As for 'Arry, ain't fussed whether Trapped is in or out. This ain't about him, it's about us - and the opportunity to get more points on the board.
To be honest...I'm SO nervous about tommorows game I'm really trying to think of other things (like the old timers thread)
